I know there are multiple threads on suspension mods, and I've searched a fair bit, but I am posting this up in hopes that someone has something to contribute.
If this is redundant, and my search skills are awful, please delete and accept apologies in advance.
So, with that said, I just picked up a '15 allroad and its time to get it significantly closer to the ground. I snagged the ST 90618 kit (B8 avant) as per multiple suggestions. Summer wheels are 20X10.5 ET27 running 255/35/20 and winters are stock 19" sport package wheels, with 245/40/19. I am looking for ballpark settings that people have had success with, before I spend hours installing everything. I plan to be low, but its a daily driver and we get significant amounts of snow up here in Canada, so it wont be slammed to the tits.
basic info that would help would be approx. amount of thread left (measuring tape method, I don't know?), wheel/tire size, and a picture if you have one, cause that why we are all here. Also, are you running adjustable control arms? At what ride height do these become necessary?
thanks in advance for any input/advice. hopefully this proves useful for more than just me.
