    Speed sensor

    Can anyone please tell me where the speed sensor is on these cars. Is it a sensor in the transmission, or did they integrate it into the ABS? Car in question is a 2010 A6 3.0T.

    Are you referring to speedometer?

    IIRC, the speedometer reads from the transmission. The ABS does have does have sensors as well, but those are used for traction control and TPMS.

    Yes, I'm referring to speedometer. I was under the impression it was on the transmission as well, but can't seem to locate it. I've been under the hood and under the car looking, but no luck.

    I believe it is internal. Are you having speedo issues?
