I just got my leyo paddle shift extenders today in black. I'm yet to install them but I had them on my old rs3 and really liked them.

Good to hear we have more options. I am hoping they make one with carbon fiber. That would be awesome.

What version is it? Their website had three Audi version.

So far driving today no issues with clearances, put about 300 miles of driving in different driving styles and they work amazingly well

Nice, Black will definitely fit in better on black OEM paddles, but I wanted something to stand out and match the RS trim in the cabin

    I'm leaning silver or black.

George, it looked like you did shift with just the very tip (top and bottom), how was the flex/give when you did this? You didn't specifically mention anything so I'm guessing it was fairly solid? Thanks!

Sorry I should have mentioned. Shifting from the very bottom was more comfortable, no flex from the Billet extensions on the very bottom or top however it wasn’t a comfortable motion for me at the top of the extension

These are the DSG carbon fibre type that I installed on our 2015 Golf R sometime ago and also now on our 2019 RS 3.

I have those exact ones on my RS3. no complaints no far, have had them on for about 6 months, even with track time. I didn't want to go with adhesive ones, last thing I need on the track going 140+ is for one to fall off in my hand

Add on paddles look tacky. Wish there were more full replacement options.

I've had the adhesive DSG's on the Golf R for nearly 5 years, with the identical ones on the 2019 RS 3, now approaching 6,000 miles of fast back country roads run weekly and both vehicles DSG's show no signs of coming 'unstuck'. So they've performed well on our two vehicles using them heavily weekly. We have a 2015 Golf TDI 6-speed that performs 'grocery getter' and other typical tasks. Our 'R' and the 'RS 3' are driven at much different rates in isolated areas.

The paddles I use are shown at this link. Too bad this forum doesn't support uploading pics, as I would have included a pic of these paddles on our RS 3.

I have the black Leyos, like the style in the picture above. They're subtle, work great. No clearance issues. Very handy for shifting through sharp turns.

    sirclass,

Ya, should do this sometime, but pretty busy with major driveway and concrete work at this time, another 4-5 weeks before I'll be able to get the Audi out of the garage, as I wanted it stored inside, and not outside while driveway and other related work is being accomplished.

    I'll keep in touch.
