APR Stage 1 Flash - What has been your experience?

For those of you that have gotten the Stage 1 tune from APR, I'm interested to hear about your experience so far. I'm about to get my 2013 S7 flashed and want to hear about pros and cons. Can I expect more wear and tear on the car? More frequent services, oil changes, breakages, etc. etc. due to increased strain?

I have no doubt the performance boost will make it well worth it, but I just want to hear from the community first!

"The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long"

You will definitely have more wear and tear on components with time, especially the rubber parts that keep the boost going to all the right places. Oil changes are 5-6k and are based on driving conditions, not just necessarily higher output. An oil analysis will help keep tight tabs on internal wear.
    2013 A6 3.0T - Slightly better than poverty package.

    Past:
    2009 A4 2.0T Avant - Totaled
    2000 A4 1.8T - Sold
    1999 Millenia S - Sold, though it should've been crushed 'n cubed
1997 A4 1.8T - Totaled, repaired, sold years later better than before
1990 Maxima - Totaled from hail dents
    1987 Maxima - Sold
1986 Golf Diesel - Rusted and fell apart

I've heard the rumors but haven't researched it. I'm going on 51k miles and so far so good.

APR stage 1 on A6 3.0T... as many have said is how the car should’ve come stock. I would imagine S7 would be the same experience. Main choice I went with APR is due to the sheer amount of feedback from others over the years with APR tunes. APR stands by their work and reliable power is what they are known for yet.

I think the APR stage 1 is well worth it. 71k miles on my S6 and no issues. It my DD. Getting ready to go stage 2.
