Is there anyone else that has any experience with the Kontrol Pro coil overs on the B5 S4?
I installed these last year and the car drives great most of the time. I am trying to figure out the rear more than anything. So in the rear the spring is the ride height period. I think im fighting dampening more than spring issues, but what happens is when I hit a bump in the road ( roads here are horrible ) if its a large bump, the car gets jar'd pretty hard. No through a few dips its has pretty good control and no issues. I have spoken to ksport and they want me to zip tie the shock which with the Kontrol Pro and the audi this is very difficult to due cause you cannot see the shock when its in the car due to the mounting on the rear. When it hits its almost like you bottomed out the shock but I've checked and checked and the rear has much more movement ant that shouldn't happen. I forgot this detail, The car is at stock height pretty much.. I think I lowered it maybe 3/4" ... Now I have raised the rear up by 1/2" and the bump is less but still Jars pretty hard. So im gonna take the dampening approach which after all of this being done. I am starting to think its a little high. we are 27 clicks hard out of 36. so im gonna reduce this to around the 20 mark and see what we get. just curious if anyone else has ran the Ksport coils on their B5 S4
As you can see in the pics the car isn't really that low.
Thanks for reading.
