What fuel return rail for 1.8T BFB

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hello.I have Audi A4 1.8T Quattro with BFB Engine. My fuel rail is without return line and i want to make it like B5 - With fuel pressure regulator and return line on Fuel rail.I know i need to change the filter but what rail i should use ? My stock FPR is 4bar and i need 4bar from 1.8T A4/A6 or passat but are all of 1.8T is compatible ? I have a list that i see the type of injectors that used in different 1.8T engines but are the EV6 (for example from AEB) is compatible with EV12 injectors (my car) ?

you want to use the fuel rail from an AWM: 06B133681. Same injectors will fit as your current rail, only difference is the return line/FPR.

Did you use AEB rail (stock ev6 injectors) on BFB engine ? I readed this article but i think you changed the engine head with AEB one.If AEB is compatible i can find

And where are the FPR hose goes ? To the intake manifold ?

Now i see you used injector spacers.I dont want to use spacers and for this is my topic. Why i need to buy spacers that are more expensive than rail, when it have Bolt-on rails for me.

using the AEB rail on a BFB manifold will require spacers. You'll want to connect the FPR directly to the manifold, yes. I added a nipple where the AWM manifold has one, directly across from the FPR

The ecu on the B6 is designed/tuned to run static fuel pressure, so leave the vacum port on the fpr open.

Are you sure to leace it open ? What is the difference if it open or connected to manifold ?

open = run at static FPR pressure (4 bar)
manifold = run at static pressure + manifold pressure (above atmospheric)

Yes but for AEB rail i need injector spacers. I preffer bolt on solution.I found from APU. I think its bolt on but want some other opinions too.
Can i trust this list, and if its with 4bar and EV12 injectors original i can install it directly:

You don't need any spacers with the AEB rail mate

But Matt Devo up there told that i need spacers for AEB rail on BFB manifold. I think because AEB comes with EV6 injectors and my BFB is with EV12 injectors.

you do need spacers between the rail and manifold when using a non-AEB stock manifold (or, at least you do with an AMB manifold; the AWM rail fits correctly)
