Broken Plastic around Fog Light on S5

So I just got back from a week in the Caribbean, all rested and relaxed, and opened my garage door to find this:

Anyone help on the best way to fix? Would it be covered by warranty? I have 1800 miles until my 50K is up.

Looks like a rock went through it, which wouldn’t be warranty. Depending on grill cost you could try insurance against your comprehensive. Might not be worth it depending on your deductible though.

    I second what JoshDub said!

But in all actuality, I think you can remove some of those fog lights from the front of the car. I was able to on my B8. Buy a new (or used) one on eBay, shouldn't run more than say $150 I'd assume. Or get RS-style aftermarket ones.

I didn't find anything on ebay. I found an Audi parts dealer that gave it to me for $260.

How hard is it to change out the piece? I have a body shop here about 30 min away from my small town that will do it, just looking for info in case it is easy enough to do myself.

It just pops out, there is a hole above the light. Pull from there.

Alright, cool. No need to take anything off? I might use a screw driver and play around with it tonight.

No just pull it straight out. A hook tool something like this is the best thing to use.

Wow, can't believe how easy it was to change. Hardest part was verifying it was the correct part and waiting for it to get here.
