Recently I've been part of a barrage of bad luck.
- 10 days ago: my car was involved in a overnight hit and run while parked. My headlight, front bumper and front fender was pushed it. Likely someone backed into my car trying to park like a idiot. I filed a claim through insurance, no police report filed. I went to a recc' body shop by some members on this forum and they quoted it's going to be a very expensive given the headlight, front fender replacement, paint etc and whatever is going on behind it. (upwards of 8-9k~)
- 5 days later: my car was rear ended while I was stopped at a red light by someone. Police report filed. I am not at fault and I am claiming through the driver who rear ended me. Basically I was stopped, car behind me was stopping and the car behind him bumped him into me. Damage is just a small scuff in the back but the paint is cracked on my bumper and diffuser.
*(I bought a blackvue dashcam after this)
- 5 days later (Today): I walk outside and see that my car was side swiped overnight damaging the 2 doors and back qtr panel and wheel. I filed a police report again for a hit and run because to be honest at this point I can't make this sh*t up. I'm checking with stores that I was parked in front of if they have footage but I'm preparing for the worst case scenario. I haven't contacted my insurance yet (found out 6am this morning).
Just looking for some guidance/advice here. I bought the car used (currently 45kmiles) at around ~$36K. I have to imagine my insurance is going to either drop me or something along those lines of hiking my premiums through the roof. Besides that I imagine on claim #1 and Claim #3 its gonna be close to half if not more then 2/3rd the cost in body work to get it all repaired for what I paid for the car used.
Good news: I wasn't even at fault for any of these, I'm healthy and my dashcam comes in 2 days lol.

Bad news: My car is jacked, my insurance will likely highly consider dropping me or killing me on premiums.
