Did a double-check to make sure it didn't say "allroad". Breathed a sigh of relief.

Honestly, make sure the car is right mechanically and electrically, as well as tires, brakes, and suspension before you think about doing anything. If it is, then it depends on your tastes. Stage 1 is a good, low budget upgrade, as are sway bars, and upgrade the brakes.

Yeah i had it checked out by an Audi tech and he said it’s all good but one of the turbos has oil slowly leaking into it

I'm at 170k on original turbo's. But even if they do go out, good K03's are plentiful and cheap.

As far as general maintenance items to look for - ICM's, PCV & pancake valves, O2 sensors, EGT modules, timing belt, water pump/t-stat, all braided vacuum lines, torque converter if it's an auto otherwise the clutch and 1-2 shift collar if it's a manual.

yeah just bought it a couple months ago and had a stack of maintenance receipts. pretty well taken care of actually. I do get a bit of smoke on hard acceleration but I haven't dug into pcv system or intercoolers (since they fill with oil) to see if one of those is the cause.

nope . . . 236k here, when one uses the correct oil and lets it rest 30-60 sec after honking on it, they will last

Nice! Can't believe somebody has me beat, I think my first C5 is at about 230k on the originals. Just gave it to my brother when I got my 6 speed car, we're both curious to see how long they're going to make it.

    Start here:

Put the car on jack stands. Rip out the entire front suspension and replace it. Check the subframe and timesert it if it's stripped. New rotors and caliper rebuild, powder coat the calipers. take the engine/trans out and replace the torque converter, transmission filter and gasket. Fully rebuild the engine (bearings, studs, gaskets) inspect the turbos, test waste gate actuators and replace if necessary, inspect the heads and replace components as necessary. Convert to all silicone boost and vacuum hoses, test and replace check valves and solenoids. Replace the spider hose/PCV valve. Inspect all harnesses for damage, replace as necessary. Replace alternator and starter motor. Inspect and replace leaky power steering pump, hoses and rack. Inspect and replace half shafts and drive axle. DON'T FORGET TO BUY ALL NEW HARDWARE because you can't re-use 99% of the stuff once you remove it! Replace air/ cabin air and oil filter. Clean intercoolers and radiator and inspect cooling hoses and reservoir and replace as needed. Buy new injectors and spark plugs (check the gap). Replenish all fluids. Then move to the back and replace the entire suspension and brakes. Inspect the exhaust. Then wrap all 4 wheels in new rubber. Move to interior and replace broken visor clips, peeling headlight switch, mirror switch and get sticker replacements for the peeling HVAC controls. New armrest. Move to exterior and do a 3 stage paint restoration and de-fog lights.

Now you'll have a complete service record and won't have to worry about anything for 10 more years. All of these things are where you could start.
