    "loose" door panel/speaker housing

I am getting a lot of rattling, even at low volume. Sounds like the plastic of the passenger door and maybe the speakers behind the rear seats.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to tighten it all up?

I haven't taken the door panels off yet, wanted to find out from you guys if it's a common issue with a known fix.

    Thanks!

Yep. Had the same issue and found a few threads that mentioned it as well. Took it to the dealer under warranty and they found nothing.

Ended up putting some foam between the door panel and speaker and it went away.

I had a low-speed rattle in a dash kick panel that drove me crazy. My S5 was still under warranty and the dealership mechanic was able to duplicate the problem. So he removed the panel, drove the car, and observed that the rattle was gone. He applied felt tape to the metal bracket behind the kick panel before reinstalling it and that fixed it.

Glad to know I'm not the only one!
I am out of factory warranty - not sure my extended will cover such things.

It sounds like (lack of) insulation is the issue.
That's a damn shame though for such an expensive car and the B & O system.

I suspect removing panels on the doors will run a few hours of labor.

I may look into doing it myself.

Cant believe this is a thing I've been experiencing this a bunch thinking the speakers needs to be replaced but was always in and out. I'll try that extra foam piece thanks!
