Hey guys I’m looking to drop my A4 about 1,5inch max it’s my dayli drive and I’m not a hard driver at all and I don’t want to drop 1k in suspension.
I don’t know much about suspension and I’d like to have your opinions on best quality price on only springs or coil overs.

    Vogtland ?

Progressive h&r springs i liked 1.5 max and u could replace the shocks with bilstien touring or koni orange just my opinion. I have had both and coilovers are more work. Stiffer over small bumps but nice when you want more than 2" drop

I heard about h&r a lot arround here and not much more $ compare to vogtland I’ll check it out but I don’t think changing the stock shoks for the moment. I’m cashing out arround 2k in wheels and tires lol but want it dropped for better fit but the cheapest way without getting a poor riding quality you know ...

Also would like to know if you put them on yourself or if you took it to a shop. Would like to know the going rate for a qualified shop to put the springs on. I don't feel like getting ripped off. Most I could get out of a qualified shop is $107 an hour for labor, but they wouldn't give me an estimate as to how many hours it would take them.
