So this will be a very thorough review for anyone who is planning to purchase the Roc-Euro Intake.
Before I purchased any intake for my car, I did my full review. I have a b8.5 s4 prestige/awe touring exhaust/carbon fiber rear diffuser and spoiler/ ect.. thought it was a good time to get a intake. Saw excellent reviews with roc euro and their performance. And then I ran across some reviews that were posted early 2017 and 2016. they stated that this company wasn't responsive at all. Some people said that they had waited 2 months for a response, but got nothing. I kept looking up reviews and ran across some reviews from late 2017 and 2018 that stated that John, the owner of the company, was just having some staffing issues but is back on his feet now and is doing excellent.
I read more reviews like this one, and decided to purchase. I made my purchase in early February on a Thursday. I didn't receive any order confirmation or anything, I checked my bank account and had been charged the $320. I waited until Friday, then Monday. Never received anything. I gave them a call on Tuesday morning. No one answered. Called again later around 12, still no answer. Left a voicemail. Waited all day and never heard anything back. I then sent an email that night. I waited until Friday and never received a call back on Friday either. I went into my email again and emailed then AGAIN stating the issue, that shouldn't even exist. I left 2 more voicemails in hopes that he notices that this customer is freaking out on the matter that his money has been taken out of his bank account, yet he has NO PROOF from the company itself that the transaction was made.
Anyways, I wait until the next week until Tuesday. Still no response. I called my bank and had the transaction disputed. I finally hear back rom John after I dispute the transaction. He emails me saying that he was very sorry for the late response, and that he sees my order, and will get my intake out by the time I saw his email. He explained that it was . I replied right away explaining to him about the dispute. I went ahead and Undisputed the transaction with my bank, since he said that my order should ship out soon. I emailed him a long email, saying that I hope that he can keep his word. He assured me that it will be mailed out by Friday at the latest and that I should receive a tracking number on or before Friday.
I wait patiently until Friday. No response from good ol John. I emailed him and left a voicemail Friday evening. Waited again all of next week, still no response. I disputed my transaction today after waiting for week for a response. To this day, I did not get any response from John.
My point is, scr** John and his company. He doesn't care about his customers, yet he acts as if he does give a sh** on the Audizine forums. John, if youre reading this, I hope you learn a lesson. You have an excellent product, but your lies and horrible customer service has put your company in a shi**hole.
Ive read this somewhere before, its just a pipe and a filter. Get it somewhere else, it'll perform nearly the same. I ordered an ECS intake now, same thing. DO NOT WORK WITH JOHN OR ROC EURO. any good reviews on his site are probably fake. I was lied to not once but twice. Beyond horrible company. If I had more time on my hands, I would sue him. If you don't have the damn product or if its on back order, just let the customer know. That idea isn't too hard to sh*t out.
