    Maintenance advice

Hey guys, I need some advice.

I am planning a maintenance extravaganza for my car this spring, and need some help choosing what to do.

My car has 112,000 on it as it sits. So far in my 6 months of ownership, I have done the following: pcv valve, rev D diverter valve, oil filter housing gasket and oil cooler gasket, clutch & flywheel, cam follower, and coil packs.

I知 buying a cam chain tensioner service kit, timing belt kit, control arm kit, diff and trans fluid change kit, and fuel filter.

Is there anything I should be aware of that I知 not? Any advice would be much appreciated. I would like to make sure my wear items are replaced to help avoid breaking anything when I begin doing power mods.

I知 probably just going to do oem uppers, they are the only ones that are shot right now. I may go adjustable we値l see.

I am also gonna do spark plugs. As for tune, I知 leaning towards JHM stage 1 for starters. But that won稚 happen for a bit.

Yes, since doing the timing chain and tensioner...do the seal rings;https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...atuRoCb3Pw_wcB, vac pump;https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...mp/06d145100h/, and N205;https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...atuRoCb3Pw_wcB at the same time. Yep...those are what I am looking to do soon and I prefer getting it all done whilst there. My vac pump nipple has begun leaking oil, the cam chain and tensioner have never been addressed and am at 144k miles now, and the cam speed sensor on the other end of the engine is a good bit to add so that it is fresh as well. I should've done all this when I had to replace my cam tensioner cover due to stripped hpfp threads it had in it. Two I heli-coiled but eventually it was discovered to be barely hanging on when I was out at Techtonics getting a tune loaded. I had to use 1/4" lag bolts to hold my hpfp on until the new tensioner cover arrived. I switched to the stud kit for the hpfp since and because having to replace the cam follower every 10k miles before took its toll on the threads. Now after switching to LiquiMoly oil from the VW recommended Castrol Edge the CF last 20k miles. I found out that US oil only needs to be 51% or more to be allowed to label "Full Synthetic". The German LiquiMoly is 100% full syn.
