If you relied on Carfax instead of a pre-purchase inspection (PPI), it was a HUGE mistake. Hopefully your car didn't have any crash damage, but Carfax (related services) are just ONE tool, but not the most important by far. Many accidents are never reported to Carfax due to several factors, like no police report, single-car accidents, etc. Most bodyshops and insurance companies don't report anything either. Finally, many selling dealers know how to remove undesirable hits anyway, so mostly just to know how many previous owners and if title is good; that's it. But NEVER rely on it for condition of the car. Oh, forgot to comment that is the crappiest respray job I've ever seen in my life; how come you didn't see it before buying the car? Oh well. Good luck.
