    2018 Rs7 c7.5 exhaust vs akrapovic?

I'm interested in getting the akrapovic for my rs7 but looking over videos between the two it seems that the akrapovic is not that much louder than the stock exhaust on my car. Is it just me or am I wrong about this?

Looking around it seems that the c7.5 exhausts sound better than the previous c7 face-lift ones. Any truth to this?

as long as it is sport exhausts, the c7 and c7.5 should be the same.

Never buy the exhaust base on the video.
Depends what are you looking for. Akrapovic is nice, more refined sound, I loved it, just priceyy.
If you want to get louder, then just get milltek non-res, brutal sound.

It's not louder, it's a sweeter note, though; more pleasant to listen to both when barking and when at a consistent speed... and with no drone. I'm told that with custom DPs, it sounds even better (and louder). If you can afford, I'd recommend it.

I didn't see any option for a sport exhaust for the c7.5 when I looked online.

Regardless the stock exhaust sounds fantastic so maybe a resonator delete is what I need?

Guess they change the options, my c7.5 still had the sport exhaust option. I heard someone said that the sport exhaust is just the black tips, the rest is the same.
Anyway, you can try to have your resonator deleted to see if you like it or not.

The Akra is not a loud system, but is definitely louder than the stock sport exhaust from Audi. It is the best sound I've ever heard on these 4.0T cars

What he said, I held off on going Akra as I didn't think the additional cost was worth it. After the first start I knew it was money well spent, the sound is on another level.

Running Armytrix and loving it. Sounds closest to Akra out of any exhaust system out there though a little louder, quality is exceptional and the cost is half. Love mine changed overall experience of the car completely.

I don’t have a comparison but Akra sounds amazing and no regret option. Clean roar especially from inside. Of course sound is very subjective. Oh and reduced weight makes car so much faster.....:)

Curious what is the weight that difference of the stock exhaust, I know it was heavy compared to my Armytrix

I’ve read ~18lbs. HP/TRQ is minimal but perhaps advantageous with tune?

Best sound I have heard of the 4.0T as well. I was hesitant, even after I bought it. Once I started pulling everything out of the box and started installing it I was less apprehensive, after the first start I was nothing but grins.
