    Exhaust Valves

I have a 2017 S6 and I finally got around to deleting the center muffler. When I was under the car, it appears that I only have one exhaust valve which is on the right tailpipe. There is not one at all on the left tailpipe. Does this sound right? It doesn't have the door in the exhaust pipe nor the motor attached to the muffler.

Nope, that's wrong. Factory exhaust has valves on both sides. NOTE: the drivers side valve is NOT in the same location as the passenger side valve. The passenger side is visible through the exhaust tip as it is after the rear muffler, the drivers side IS NOT visible through the exhaust tip as it is located BEFORE the rear muffler.

Thanks. Ok, so I wouldn't be able to see the driver side valve in the tailpipe? How far upstream is the motor?

You cannot see through the muffler, so no you can't see the valve in tailpipe on drivers side.

It is located just before the rear muffler on drivers side.

Here's another question, is there any way possible to manually control the exhaust valves? I'm aware they only close during certain driving conditions (speed/rpm) but I wanted to know if there is a way to open and close the valves on demand?
