I feel like the A3 is the red headed step child or perhaps no one with the A3 feel like sharing great photos of their tastefully modded and styled rides. Well friends, here is your haven! Not to discriminate against the S3 owners out there or the illustrious RS owners but this thread is being started and focused on the A3 and anyone who wants to show off what they have done appearance wise or performance wise. Any cool mods that are custom or unique feel free to post up in the thread. I myself just picked up a glacier white 2015 with chestnut/black interior. Love it! I will post up some pics once the weather breaks and I can clean the car up. I can't wait to see the A3 owners cars out there. Let's blow this thread up annnnnnnd GO!

They're the S5 peelers. 19x9 et33 on 235/35. Which set are you going to run on yours?

19x8.5 +43...I have a set of 235/35/19, but was worried that they would be stretched. You think I am fine running them?

They were stretched and had a little poke out front. But 245 might rub so the S4 ones are a better fit.

I actually have a set of Peelers from an S4 on my A3 and they are 19x8.5 but I think the tires that were on the tires when I bought them are too skinny and stretched. I know the look is kind of cool on lower cars but I want to protect my wheels and give my wheels some more comfort. The problem I have is the tires are like 90% new that the guy had on the wheels when I bought them. I am thinking they are 225/35/19. I am thinking I will do 235/35's next time or if it is possible to run 235/45's then I would do that. I plan to get ED springs down the road and will have to pay more attention to my tire ratios when that time comes but for now this thing has plenty of room to not rub sitting at stock height LOL.

Very true. I feel like some people are like oh, it's just an A3, nothing special. But I am both proud of and satisfied with mine. Perfect new commuter (I used to daily a MKV Jetta) that gets me low to mid 40's mpg, looks and feels nice and is still fun to drive.

I can't wait to do some mods to it and make it more personalized. Went Stage 2 (Malone tuning) within 2 months of ownership and added a 034 Dogbone insert around the same time. Got it tinted about a month after that. I have an Rs3 style grill in the garage, have to tear into that some time soon.

I also love my 2015 A3 Premium w the 1.8t. Coming from my 2013 mk6 Jetta has truly been a huge step up. The car is sporty, but rides like I'm sitting on a sofa. (It's really helped my lower back). The s3 is a beautiful car, but for the money, I can't beat this used A3. Plus my Jetta was slow 115 hp 2.slow, so this is an awesome 55hp boost w room to actually be tuned if need be. That was a huge factor in trading up. Iove seeing the progress with all of your cars. Just h&r sports for me now, until I can buy my girls engagement ring....lol...then wheels and tires for sure!

Check out HBird's S3. Looks perfect.

235/35 is the oem spec on the black optic wheels which I believe is a 19x8.5 wheel too.

Ride quality was not bad for the car sitting that low. Yes, everything else is stock.

I feel like I may end up going with something that sits a tad higher honestly. The only thing is ED springs are the only ones to be linear much like OE which I am trying to preserve as much of the stock comfort and ride with a little better handling and lowered-ness LOL. Decisions, decisions!

Got my RS3 pedals installed and were no way near as bad to install as everyone made it seem. I had them installed in under 10 minutes although I did manage to take a chunk of skin off the back of my hand and I still don't even remember hitting it off anything LOL. I swear i injure myself on every mod...

Thanks a lot! Here are the specs. I’m honestly a total noob and know very little about fitment. Brandon at VMR helped me a lot. I like the 18s - and with the ED springs they’re still pretty sporty looking. The 19s were tempting but this is a daily driver and sometimes has kids in the back. I love the wheels - my only gripe is I think a bit wider would look more aggressive, but I’m still into these.

Yea, I've been contemplating 19s myself. Rohana rc9. But I've bent 18s in the past down in south Carolina. Mine is also the daily, so what we want and what is practical can be very different.

How do those H&R springs ride looks like a good right height with just a little space above the tire. I almost feel like ED springs go a little too low but they are linear and maintain oem ride characteristics so needless to say I am so on the fence about what springs to eventually put on my car

They ride pretty smooth. Maintains the OEM rise as well. I am going to change out the shocks and struts to the ST ones here probably this summer. I’m not going to lie tho, sometimes I wish I was lower but then I don’t when I deal with the pothole madness here in Jersey.

I scooped up 100 inches of this universal carbon fiber lip similar to the HDR lip or EZ lip you see all over eBay. I figure it cost me $15 and it looks pretty nice on the A3 that they actually had in the listing. I will post up pics of my car once I get it on.
