Sooooo the S3 rear diffuser will definitely NOT fit the standard A3 bumper. With that said, anyone with an A3 prestige/s-line it will fit perfectly so if you are looking for one head over to my classified posting. Thanks!

My bad looked at it again and it looked like it was a 5 cylinder based on the way I counted the bumps in the engine cover but I looked again and I was incorrect. I would love a 2.5T swapped into my A3 though, they are angry and fun LOL!

Well that clears that up HAHA I don't really want to pull the whole bumper off to mess with the grille but I am not a fan of the grey slats. I was just going to vinyl blackout the chrome surround which will help but I really wish the entire thing was gloss black and I am no way painting the grille while it is on the car! Decisions decisions.....

yeah taking apart the grille wasn't fun. I wish my slats were black too. Nobody notices the color difference in person unless you point it out. I also wrapped the gray piece on rear bumper and the two pieces on the lower panels of the front. lots more pics on my instagram jnhalstead

Does anyone know if you can add paddle shifters to an A3? I know steering wheels plug n play but I am talking just the paddles themselves? I found them for less than $100 and would kill to have paddle shifters and do not want to drop several hundred for an upgraded wheel altogether. Thanks in advance friends!

No you need the new wheel. Those $99 paddles are 3M taped extensions for pre-existing paddles

No they are OEM stamped part numbers with a wiring harness coming from them, I am just not sure how they mount to the column without pulling my airbag but I don't want to be messing around in the first place if it won't work.

You have to take out the air bag to access the paddles. Your steering wheel also needs holes in it for the paddles to come out of itself. You need a S3 wheel or one with cutouts for it.

Kind of wonder how hard it would be to fab the holes in the column it's just plastic? Something I want to do, I may just wait til I have cash to grab a flat bottom wheel with paddles and just swap them out. I just hope taking the airbag off is a lot easier than it was when I did it to my old MK4 Jetta, God that was awful!

My original S3 steering wheel is dismantled right now so I can take some pics of it when I get home if you want an idea of what you'd be up against. Taking the airbag off is fairly simple. There's two holes behind the wheel and you have unclip the air bag from there and it pops right out.

3 of my other cars have had paddles, my twin turbo SUV has paddles, I never use them. I would actually like my SUV to have the same shift setup as the Audi.

This answers my question LOL. I totally do not have those cutouts, I thought they mounted into the column and I would maybe drummel plastic out of the shroud but this will not work. If I ever decide to add them, looks like a new wheel will be in order. Thanks Hunter.

Finally picked up my Peelers 19x8.5 and Gabe the car a quick bath, I cannot wait to go nuts detailing this thing in Spring. Roof rack is on the way as are the S3 aluminum pedal set. Next wave of parts will be a painted lip spoiler, LED’s for the front signal bulbs, S-Line kick plates for the door jambs, some vinyl to blackout the grille surround and just a good ole detail job!

Still the king of the A3 family (A3, S3, RS3), the Audi A3 Clubsport Quattro Concept.

525HP, 423 torque, 5-cylinder

Not even the RS3 got a proper RS interior like the A3 Clubsport.

Anyone know of a nice looking rear diffuser/valance to fit the standard A3 rear bumper non s-line? I had gotten that S3 one and it didn't fit, thought I read it would somewhere but most definitely does not LOL. The ones on eBay that look similar to that of the S3 and say they are for a standard A3 look like their fit/finish is awful. Anyone rocking anything along these lines? I am not getting a whole new bumper just to add the diffuser of the S3. Thanks in advance.

P.S. Where are moar pictures?!?!?!?

Post up pics of why/where it doesn’t fit. Would be of great service for all premium A3 owners. Some of us are very mechanically inclined/crafty and might help you find a solution. If it comes down to just clip alignment and you don’t feel like messing with it,PM me I might be tempted to take it off your hands.
