    Spacers and extended lug bolts came in today. Pardon the terribly dirty car, but I didn't waste any time getting them installed;

    Install helper;

    Weak factory offsets;

    Hub and wheel centric 15mm fronts and 20mm rears;

    Removing wheel...

    Cleaning up any surface rust on the hub and wheel mounting pad with some steel wool;

    Difference between extended lug bolts and oems (both ball seat);

    Fronts installed;

    Moving on to the rears while admiring the front beefiness;

    Rears installed;

    Rinse and repeat on the other side and she's sitting much better. I should be impacting my scrub radius (more positive) with spacers this aggressive so maybe that will dial some feedback into the steering. Audi tends to have a lot of negative scrub from the factory which is why the steering can feel lifeless.

    Before/After;

    Very pleased with how it turned out, springs should be in soon and we'll be in business.

    Looks good! Which H&R Spring did you go with? Ive only seen ones for TTS without MRC but seem some that have installed them on TTS with Magride with no issues?

    None whatsoever, and shouldn't be any after the spring install either.

    As mentioned above, the non MRC TTS springs work perfect, big thanks to bknewtype and the other gentlemen on the board for being the guinea pigs on that one.

    Stopped by to get a cross rotation after the track day. Chewed the fronts up pretty bad. Lucky they run a square setup in these cars (same widths and offsets) and you can rotate them front to back at will.

    Oh, and Kermit has officially become... Kermit. Finally retired that Porsche plate :)

    Stopped by my friends at E1 Motorsports to take advantage of an APR sale. Ended up going with both the ECU & TCU tunes. Loaded the APR 93 octane Hi-torque file, which they claim raises output to 370hp/383tq, along with the DQ250 flash for the DSG. Took about 30 min to flash both files and I was out the door.

    I was just as excited about the DSG flash as I was about the power increase to be honest. I definitely felt like the oem trans tune was way too eager to upshift you into oblivion in "D". My first impression is that the car definitely likes to hang on to gears much much better than the factory cal. I always wanted the car to just hold the rpms for maybe another thousand during part throttle acceleration, and this did exactly that. The shifts feel smoother at part throttle, faster at wide open, the paddle lag seems to have decreased, and its really nice to have the gear counter displayed all the time on the dash. The power increase is also noticeable, no question. It doesn't feel twice as fast or anything, but there is undoubtedly more acceleration as the car comes on boost. It seems to spool faster with less tip in lag, and you get a really nice shove at lower speeds if you mat it. Launch control is where you feel the power increase the most, the car rips off the line now, and the first 3 gears are a riot. The DSG flash allows you 3 different launch control rpms, so I have 3.5k, 4k, and 4.5k. Launching on the street from 4.5k results in all 4 tires spinning which is just hilarious fun in a car like this. Overall, I don't regret paying for either, I think the tunes compliment each other well, and the car has the absolute perfect amount of power for around town jaunts.

    At E1 motorsports again, this time to drop the car off to get the H&R springs installed. Parked out front with the owner's Mexico blue RS7, it was quite a feast for the eyes.

    E1 made quick work of the install, I dropped the car off at 9am, and they were done by noon. They also gave me a nice loaner so I could get to work, which they didn't have to do, but I greatly appreciated. They are getting the car aligned and I'll be ready to rock--can't wait to see the car today when I pick it up.

    Awesome!

    Btw, some of the pictures kinda looks like your tts is hovering. For some reason it reminds me of the movie 5th Element lol

    Haha its because the taxi cab had a wide booty just like the TTS :) That's my favorite movie!

    Picked the car up from E1 Motorsports and was smitten. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that they detailed my car and even went so far as to polish my metal exhaust tips!

    If instead of springs, I went to a coil, this is the ride height that I would have set regardless. In my eyes, its absolutely perfect--H&R nailed it! Just the right touch of rake, not too slammed, not too 4x4, just bellisimo! :heart:

    Wait a min 370HP no intake no downpipe and stock exhaust? correct me if im wrong.

    If thats the case then my TTS with catless dp exhaust intake and jb4 e85 tune must be close to 400ish...damn.

    I want to do the DSG tune as well but not sure yet

    I wouldn't sell my liver for sure, but its a nice upgrade to the oem map.

    APR's hi-torque 93 pump file for the ECU requires the DSG flash to raise the clutch clamping force--else the trans will slip.

    Yeah its not happening. I actually prefer this grille over the RS.

    I've had a lot of people ask "when you blacking out the wheels bro", and that's not happening either. All this black-out look is just so played out, I really like all of the satin silver accents on the car, it looks classy imo.
