Haha just found this out also. Also no Adjustable shocks or dynamic steering. I thought this stuff was standard with drive select... explains why there was 0 difference in the suspension on comfort or dynamic lol
As far as the steering, it says steering but that just firms the wheel up. Dynamic apparently is a whole different steering rack setup.
I have ADA “light” apparently which still has the rear sport diff. Since its a 6 speed the drive select does shit as daily driver. Why wouldn’t some company or person that leased this thing load it up? ... makes no sense.
    Reallly wanted adaptive shocks :(

Money is often why. There's a reason these things are options. Not everybody wants adaptive suspension for example and few people really understand the dynamic steering. It's gotten unfair reviews and it's only an option on the Prestige trim and then it's bundled with Driver Assistance package which also adds adaptive cruise etc, so it's something like a $2000 option on top of the additional cost for the Prestige trim. The adaptive suspension is not all that great in the B8/.5. As most spring based adaptive suspensions, it ends up being a compromise. It has thinner sway bars resulting in more understeer and the difference between comfort and dynamic is not all that significant. That's a general trait of steel spring adjustable suspension. Either they are overall stiff and comfort mode isn't all that comfortable, or they are overall comfortable and the most sporty setting isn't much stiffer than comfort mode. The main benefit of these suspension is that they continuously monitor the road surface and your driving and adapt the damping. The comfort, auto, dynamic setting just kind skews the adjustments towards more comfortable, balanced or sporty. Air suspensions is really where it's at if you want true adjustability. In the B9 S4 Audi uped the game with the adaptive suspension. There is now a dedicated chassis control ECU and the adaptive suspension's mission has changed to body control. Much like the dynamic ride control suspension in some of the RS models. These types of suspension act more like active anti-roll bars and attempt to control dive, squat and body roll. When putting them in comfort mode they basically allow more body motion making the car more comfortable vs dynamic mode where body motion is kept to a minimum resulting in a more stiff ride.

Yea makes sense. Whats Adjustable on a air suspension besides ride height? Or are the shocks adjustable .. also in cab like the bags?

Both the spring rate and the damping are adjustable. The airbags take the place of the steel springs, so the spring rate becomes adjustable and then the damping can be optimally paired with the spring rate. Whereas in steel suspensions, the spring rate stays fixed and only the damping can be adjusted, so the spring rate has to be compromised in order to satisfy the requirements for comfort as well as dynamic mode and the question becomes in which mode are the springs best matched with the damping.
