    Hi.
Have BBS RSIIís and the bolt that is also the air valve is stripped. I canít get it out for the life of me. The kicker is I just had the wheel refinished and donít want to go scratching it all up!

I have a new air valve bolt- can anyone get this out for me?
(I believe itís titanium if that matters)

I see, there is a couple of things you could try. You can drill and use a bolt extractor carefully without scratching the wheels or you can JB weld a spare Allen key to it and once it hardens you remove it by hand or use a pair of pliers.

Gave up and had a wheel Guy do it.
    Looks like extractor worked.
    Not a scratch!

The threads inside the wheel are stripped.
Seems like the valve is titanium.
Can you weld titanium to aluminum?

Since itís a 2 pc wheel
It seems like the solution is to weld the current air valve shut. And add a new air valve somewhere else.

    Can anyone do this?
    Anyone have BBS RS2 experiences?

I had the same problem with my RSIIís.

Had to get the barrel welded and retapped. Even then it was leaking. Then I bought another barrel and had to have the same thing done.

Even to this day I lose about 10 lbs of pressure over the course of a week from one wheel, so I have to carry around a compressor.
