RI Cruise/Drive

I am interested in setting up a VAG weekend cruise. I live in RI. I would welcome any one from neighboring states. Let me know if any one has any interest. I hope to hear from you and your ideas! I was thinking a nice drive, some food and some chat among VAG owners. Thanks. Hope to hear form you.

I live in southern CT but am from RI so I’m up there quite a bit Spring-Fall.. I think getting a cruise together sounds like a great idea.

Couple ideas I have..
1)
Start in Newport at Audrain Auto Museum C&C event (sign up for schedule on site http://audrainautomuseum.org/) and then cruise Ocean Drive and then over to Little Compton and out to Sakonnet Point getting lunch along the way.

2)
Start in East Greenwich area for coffee on a Sat or Sunday morning, cruise west into Acadia park area.. cruise south towards shore (route TBD) and end at the Ocean Mist in Matunuck on the south shore for brunch and beers.

Or we can do both? Hah

Open to ideas!

Depending on date I might be in for something like this. I would suggest some nice backroad driving thru thru exeter exeter/ scituate. Perhaps meet up at showcase cinemas in e.g. as there's a gas station across street as well for people to fuel up before cruise.

I'd be interested too, depending upon the date. There are actually 2 car museums in the area, Audrain in Newport and another, the Newport Auto Museum, in Portsmouth on rt 114 on the way to Newport.

Going to be coming through RI tomorrow morning to head to Mystic, CT. I'll be keeping an eye out for you rhody hooligans along the Middletown, Portsmouth, Newport, Narragansett, Westerly line!
