for the b8.5 Allroad, would anyone happen to have pictures of it with the 19" forged RS5 ten spoke wheels installed? Its 19x9 et 24. I am trying to figure out if it will fit on a moderately lowered Allroad with 255/40/19 tires without rubbing or poking out past the fender arches?

How low are we talking? 19x9 ET24 will probably work just fine. 255/40 is a little meaty but should work.

We are talking FTG of 26” on kw v3. I’ve seen pics of rotor wheels with 255/40/19 and they look good to drive around in NYC especially with pothole season around the corner. I’m just afraid with that tire size and offset of 24, it may rub.

not sure how helpful this is, but I'm running the stock sport wheels (19x8.5, ET26) with 245/40/19's, FTG is 26.25" and I have TONS of room. I can snap a photo tomorrow if that helps at all/.

Looks like I will need new tires come summer - currently Continental ContiSportContact 3 tires (255/35-19). What do people like for summer tires? Probably go same size as current.

I went with the Conti DWS-06. I love Michelins, but the simple fact for me is that my allroad is not a sports car, and while I do enjoy spirited drives I realistically do not need "ultra high performance" tires. The Pilots were $485 a corner, and the Conti's were $265, so it was a no-brainer. Plus I stretched a 255 onto a 10.5" rim, so all that fancy sidewall magic that goes into UHP tires basically got tossed in the trash anyways.

    Just my 2 cents.

Definitely agree, very happy with my DWS's as well. But I only put mine on a 9.5 so I still got some sidewall lol.

Yeah I understand what you're saying. I paid just over $300 per for my 275/30R20 MPS4S on my 20x10.5 so it wasn't as bad as what you were seeing ($2k just for tires!?). However after running UHP summers for many years now, the difference in feel is incredible and I go for it. I think they've already kinda saved me once, too.

This is me on 255/40/19 on Pirelli's... I think this is proper fitment for Winter although I cant find the Blizzak WS80's I'm looking for in the same size. Ugh. Anyways.

I'm around the same area as you so I can attest to how horrible the NYC roads are in winter and general.

X’s2 on the 255/40/19” Pirelli winters, definitely a little bit meatier than the 255/35/20 I’ve been running.

Pulling the trigger on new winter tires. They're going on S4 peelers. I was originally thinking I'd go 255/40 but am considering 250/40. Any thoughts on either size?

I have 255/40r19 on my summer/all season set (on the 19x8.5 wheels) and they are a great fit on the wheel (more of a flush sidewall). For winter the narrower 250/40's might be slightly better for performance in the snow. Not a massive difference between them though, so hopefully others can give their thoughts as well.
    Here is the 255/40r19:

To reiterate what Taylor said, narrower is better for snow purposes, remembering that the stock Allroads run a 245/45/18. That said, you will also want to look into availability and price by size as it will vary greatly based on commonality of spec.

Need some help with ET... 2016 Allroad. Looking at BBS CIR 20x9 et 38 w 255/30 tires. I am running 12/15mm spacers on stock 18" wheels which I believe are ET26.
Will I need to run the 12/15 spacers with the BBS wheels? Wouldn't that be an effective ET of 23/25. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have 18x9.5 ET33 with 275/40 tires. The rear could use a 5 or 8mm spacer, the fronts are perfect. 16 ar

Edit: go to willtheyfit.com and use my size as the limit on the inner clearance. For the outer, it depends on your right height. Mine is stock.

    Any reason you're looking at 20x9 ET38 rather than 20x9 ET25 (or even 20x10 ET25)?

Looking at buying a used set close to me.

If its not a good fit I can walk away, not married to them. You have a lot more experience with wheels on Allroads than me, I respect your opinion.
As a note, I am looking at using H&R springs for drop, if that makes a difference

    Thanks

255/40/19 Blizzaks on S4 peelers. 30mm spacers our back and 25mm spacers up front. On B8 S-line Avant springs. In need of a Plasti Dip reapply and center caps. And a wash...

Car looks excellent. This is pretty much exactly where I would like to be. Can you please confirm specs in these pics?

    275/35 r20 X 10.5 et35? No spacers, on sport springs?

My wheel setup will be less width at 9 but more aggressive et20 which, is still less aggressive overall and want to be sure to be able to put as much tire on as possible. Thanks in advance.

My other option considering is 19X9.5 et35 with 265/40r19

Yes the wheel/tire specs are correct. I’m on coilovers now but the height is the same at 27” FTG all the way around. Fender trimming/mods are required for this set up.

Thanks for confirmation. Extensive trimming? Or minor? Thanks in advance. The 20X9 et20 setup I am looking at would actually be 4mm less outboard all thing being equal such as tire brand, model, etc...

Do you think that would be enough to avoid needing to trim anything?

May still require trimming the inner plastic lip on the rear fenders and rolling up the metal lip and fender bracket screw on the front fenders.

Can you get to -3 with stock control arms F/R? I think when I had my alignment done, we were close to the limit. I sortof want to dial a little less camber as I prefer the look of the wheel fitment when camber is minimized.

Sean is running -3, I dont know what his CA setup is though. I've thought about being able to tuck just a little bit more, but I also dont want too much camber. I'm very happy with my stance now, so we'll see.

I'm on 20x10.5 et30 275/30. Running -2deg camber front and rear, using SPC adjustable control arms. The shop shaved down the inner lip of the plastic fender arches, I think both front and rear. I can double check later.

My fender flares are shaved both front and rear.

I'm not on my 20s right now but if I recall correctly I sit ever so slightly on the rear flares when completely aired out. I don't think I make contact in front

How exactly do you trim the inner fenders? Which part is being trimmed? I just lowered my car and am rubbing in the rear with the oem allroad wheels + 20mm spacer rear. It’s scuffing up the outer edge of the tire only on the deep dips in the road. Thought about just fitting 15-17mm spacer instead.. Fronts are fine with 12mm spacer.

The rear plastic fenders of the Allroad has a plastic 1/2” inner lip. We sanded mine down flush with the fender lip to increase clearance.

I wanna run these on coils should I go down to 9.5 to avoid rubbing a little bit? or you think 10.5 is fine
