+30 to +35 is a good ET for 9" wide, in my opinion. Tire size and ride height dependant of course.

As a gauge, the OEM S5 wheels are 19x9 et33 and can cause rubbing when using 255/35-19 tires at lowered ride height. I would think that if you stay in the +35 or higher offset range, you should not have any problems with rubbing.

EDIT - btw, 19x9 et33 with 255/35-19 fits like this:

^^ Plus one, I'd stay +35 or higher. +33 is damn near perfect on the rear though with a 19x9 inch wheel. +33 is perfect on stock suspension with a 19x8.5, I'll take a pic in a minute.

Well - technically, no. The S5 peelers have a set of all-season tires with dwindling tread, I have just been too lazy to swap my winter set on. For the past couple years the S5 Peelers+all seasons have been my late fall to early winter set. So it's S5 Rotors+PSS tires for summer, S5 Peelers+ContiDWS tires for "between seasons", 18" Alzor peeler replicas + Mich.AlpinPA4 for dedicated winter set. Of course, the black optic grille gets installed when the Rotors are on, and the stock grille goes back on for winter. It's a whole thing. It's excessive.

Back on topic, do you think you can snap some profile/downward pics on your fronts with the et33 19x9's? I swear mine didn't look as good, they really poked out. I have a B8 though, curious to see if they are different.

Your car is at stock height if I remember correctly? The wheels will definitely look like they poke out too far at stock height. I am lowered on coilovers without any camber correction (i.e. adjustable control arms) up front, so the wheel camber angle is in the -2.0 degree range, so it allows the tops of the tires to "tuck in" more at the fenders, whereas your stock ride height will have camber somewhere in the neighborhood of -1.4 degrees if I remember correctly, so the tops of your tires will sit relatively farther out than mine do.

To the OP - keep in mind that if you are not lowering the car from stock, you probably want to keep the offset around +40 or maybe even a bit higher when using a 9" wide wheel - otherwise, the wheels could end up looking like they poke out too much and give you a "monster truck" look.

You can get lowering springs that go this low (e.g. H&R Super Sport), but your OEM dampers will not survive long in that over-compressed condition, not to mention they will be underdamped for those relatively stiffer springs, so you would be well advised to replace your OEM dampers along with the new springs. Then you're out in the wild trying to match a set of aftermarket dampers properly with the springs at which point you'd be better off buying a pre-'engineered' spring and damper kit like the Bistein B12 kit.

I'm running 18x9 ET40 with Michelin PSS 255/45-18 and they're relatively flush and never an issue with rubbing, though I am on non-lowered stock ADS suspension.

No spacers, that's just how they fit.

Will be close to mexipoke. On a 9.5 ur going to want a et of 38-45 in my opinion. I hate stretched tires or rubbing tho.
Just curious as to why your set on 18s, 19s look so much better on these cars.

That will definitely poke. 38-45 is also my ideal range on a 9.5 after extensive reading on the forums
