    **This is our NEW OAD ONE and DONE approach to obtain optimal pulley ratios (3.27:1) with a STOCK blower pulley. This setup is slightly more aggressive than the popular DUAL PULLEY 187mm and 57mm combo.**






    JHM has been making Lightweight Crank Pulleys for Audis since early 2009. We developed our first Lightweight Pulley for the B6-B7 S4 then came the B7-RS4 Lightweight Crank Pulley. That was followed by the 6-rib pulley systems we developed for our B6-B7 S4 and RS4 Supercharger Kits. After the release of the Supercharger Kits, we came out with a Lightweight Crank Pulley for the B8-S5 4.2L, then the 2.7T, the 3.0L V6, and the 2.0T FSI. We have also developed a 6-Rib Pulley Upgrade Kit for B6-B7 S4s and RS4s that aren't supercharged. We have also been making LWCPs and OD Pulleys for the 3.0T since 2015!

    Following the success of our Lightweight Crank Pulleys and after learning of the OEM pulley failures on the 3.0T FSI, we decided to come up with three JHM solutions for a failure-prone Audi part. We already released our JHM 179mm and 187mm Lightweight Crank Pulleys for the 3.0T FSI engine and now we're pleased to release the JHM 207mm "OAD" Overdrive Lightweight Crank Pulley for the 3.0T FSI!


    WHY THE JHM "HD" OVERDRIVE LIGHTWEIGHT CRANK PULLEY?

    The OEM 3.0T Crank Pulley is actually two pieces connected by a rubber isolator. The center hub or inner piece bolts to the crank which is joined to the outer by the rubber isolator. We have seen several failures where the inner portion of the pulley separates from the outer at the rubber isolator connection. This leads to a major belt failure and can cause serious damage to the radiator, radiator fans, accessories, and other pieces behind the core support.



    FEATURES:

    - Just like the JHM "HD" Lightweight Crank Pulley, the Overdrive Lightweight Pulley also eliminates the two-piece design and rubber isolator found in the stock crank pulley while also reducing the mass of the motor's rotating assembly.

    - Additionally (and most importantly) our Overdrive pulley has a similar supercharger overdrive ratio as the other popular stage 2 57/187 combo on the market. (3.27PR)

    - Converting to a single piece, solid crank pulley without the rubber isolator will prevent separation of the crank pulley and damage to your motor and/or accessories while reducing the rotating mass of the engine's rotating assembly will also free up horsepower.

    - The JHM 207mm Overdrive Crank pulley achieves the 3.27 Pulley Ratio while increasing the total amount of belt contact in the belt and pulley system. When you decrease the size of the supercharger pulley there is less surface for the belt to grip the pulleys which can lead to slippage. Our JHM Overdrive Crank Pulley increases grip and prevents slippage.

    - Our JHM Overdrive Lightweight Crank Pulley is anodized black to look stock and blend in.

    - The 207mm OAD Pulley is a ONE AND DONE pulley. Save money and time by NOT having to purchase an aftermarket supercharger pulley!

    - OEM 3.0T Crank Pulley Weight: 8.57 to 8.62 pounds
    - JHM "HD" Overdrive Lightweight Crank Pulley Weight: 5.26 pounds

    - 8x 8mm x 1.25 Allen Bolts


    BELT REQUIRED:
    - 1x 7PK1370 belt for 207mm crank pulley and STOCK blower pulleys (Available HERE)



    INSTALLATION NOTES:
    Our JHM "HD" Overdrive Lightweight Crank Pulley installs just like your OEM pulley. So, just like you must do with the OEM pulley, make sure that the offset bolt hole on the JHM Crank Pulley matches up to the offset hole on the crank. Then, torque all supplied crank pulley bolts to 20 ft-lbs in a star pattern. We also recommend using Loctite.

    NOTE: MODIFICATION REQUIRED. There is a nub on the engine black that needs to be cleared otherwise it will interfere with the belt. This nub just needs roughly 10mm cut off.

    Yes! We just had a B8 S4 customer install this from underneath the car. The "trimming of the nub" that we show is overkill, so to trim the needed amount will be fairly easy without having the car apart. Some customers have used a hand file to make the clearancing needed.

    in the mean time I want to try it with the upgraded 57.6 supercharger pulley, so what belt would I need for this combo?

    I'm pretty sure they're not going to recommend you run a 3.6 pulley ratio. Your best bet is to wait for the upgraded blower to arrive.

    If you shift around 6500 like stock you can use a higher pulley ratio

    What would happen if you left it at the 3.6 ratio and 7300rpm limit? Throw a rod or blow the supercharger?

    Shouldn't throw a rod with proper tuning. The main issue is that the IATs are going to be higher the faster you spin the blower. If you have awesome IAT management you can probably get away with it.

    I installed mine a few months back just on a stage1 apr tune for now. Had bad belt squeal with both the 7pk1370 and 7pk1360. Gates only make a 6rib in these sizes and with a 6pk1355 belt squeal is totally eliminated. Be nice if I could get a gates belt in 7pk1355.

    I also installed a stacked heat exchanger. On the driving experience it makes a noticeable improvement to the bottom end for sure. Now I can spin the wheels in the dry when launching. It must be a real weapon with a tcu tune and a stage2 tune upgrade.

    Don’t know. It’s much stronger bottom end than it was before the pulley got installed. The OCD in me finds it difficult to live with a 6pk belt on a 7pk pulley but no noise it seems happy. The only size gates makes is 7pk1370 so I could try this and see how it goes. My car is my wife’s daily so the biggest problem I have is getting her to drive it hard enough to keep the carbon build up at bay.

    the 6 rib belt will work, you just run more of a chance of belt slip. So far, we haven't had any issues with the 1370

    I have this puley and have about about 2000mi on it so far with no problems or abnormal noise. I am running the 7PK1370 Contitech belt (also replaced the serp belt with conti belt).

    does it matter of the crank bolt head? i notice most supplied bolts have a triple square head, locally i can find torx heads.

    The bolts supplied are allen/hex, not triple square. Can you send us some photos of what you received for us to confirm?

    Yes, we have installed on several stock vehicles who planned on doing software in the future. Power increase is dependant on the software you choose. This pulley will allow you to run the "Dual Pulley" software available by several tuners.

    Now Available: JHM 207mm Lightweight Overdrive Crank Pulley for the 3.0T

    Just a quick follow up fact after doing 20 minutes research. I’m tickled to find out that a VW MK3 12 Valve VR6 with AC; (should be all U.S. spec 1995-1998) uses a 7 rib/1360mm long serpentine. Contitech is 7DPK1360.

    Problem is the D means dual sided.

    We have installed many 207 pulleys and have ONLY used the Conti 1370: https://jhmotorsports.com/supercharg...-3-0t-fsi.html

    We have yet to have an issue here yet. Note: We only install the 1370 on cars with stock SC pulleys.


    The 1360 belt mentioned above was for someone to try who was using a 57mm SC pulley. We haven't tried that combo, here to 100% confirm.

    JHM can you post a video of a vehicle you have that runs a stock upper and a 207mm crank with a 1370 belt. perhaps unedited to show the belt size printed on the belt, startup, as well as what your vacuum idles at?? because my 1370 squeels like a pig before butcher. i swapped to a smaller 1364 6rib and have eliminated the sound and gained proper vacuum/ +4psi of boost.

    How old is your tensioner? I am wondering if aging tensioner could contribute to the squeaky noise.

    I also have this pulley, I get belt squeal at 6700rpm+ using Gates 1370, which gets worse after back to back pulls. I noticed this happening on the dyno. didn't seem to lose any boost according to the VCDS logs, actual boost still hit or exceeded the requested boost (21psi ish) but the airflow takes a massive sudden dive, as does the power, I suspect this is my stock intake collapsing.

    Got a conti 1370 which I'll fit next week, see if that helps. New solid intake pipe too.

    As for the pulley itself, really happy with it, easy enough install.
