Or on ecs/similar. Never understood how people can't search or use sites for part lookup.

    Quick update :

I have been running these with RBF600 and stainless lines at all 4 corners for like 10 000 km now and it has been great ! I like the feeling alot

For those still wondering about fitment :

1- Yes it is a direct drop in. Remove stock caliper with stock carrier, then install these and you're done

2- S4 lines fit directly, they are the same as Q5 in fact

3- I used Hawk HPS 5.0 pads for a 2010 Subaru STI, so these are confirmed for fitment. Only thing is you will have to remove/cut/bypass the brake pad wear sensor

The calipers do come with the spring thing and the pins to mount the pads, but no pads

hey man did you need to do anything fancy to get the ebc red stuff pads to fit such as remove/cut/bypass the brake pad wear sensor? Also, was the model # of the pads you purchased DP32168C and where did purchase these pads at?

For those looking for pads, this link on page 2 of this thread gives you pretty much all you need to know:
    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...uXel3m31dM7wb6

With an advanced internet search tool called Google you can order pads in probably 10 min or less.

Its been mentioned above, but these use the same pads as a 2010 WRX STI. Which means there are tons!!!!!!! of performance options.

On a side note, they are also the same pad used in the RacingBrake Kits for their 4 piston setup!

For those that are getting 2010 STI pads, the brake pad wear sensor does not fit on them. I cut mine off and used VCDS to tell the car such a sensor does not exist so it doesn't code

I found that it was super easy to get a visual on the pads with those calipers, so the sensor is not really needed

Does the old cross the wires on an old sensor work? I need to do this because the Yellow Stuff pads I have right now dont work with the wear sensors so i have the brake light on.

There are only 2 wires, so I guess it would work.. if not, you can code it out with VCDS

You can always zip-tie the sensor to something out of the way.

I think some people earlier in the thread noted that you had to order the entire Porsche and then send back the parts you don't need.

Calipers come with hardware, you need to source pads (see link in this thread, quoted a few posts before, for available options)

Caliper is direct bolt on. It bolts where the OEM caliper carrier bolts. The line is a direct fit also

Be sure they clear your wheels before buying, it might be a tight fit !

Anyone have a before and after photos of the calipers from stock to the q5/porsche brembos?

The more and more I look at them, they do not look much bigger, if at all.

Just curious, any help would be appreciated.

I thinks someone here measured them. Over all it’s about it acceptable to a larger rotor, and putting its over all cooling and pad area covered!

Macan also has air vents that direct air to the rotor. That’s would need to be done to make the heat shield effective.

Yup! You got what I was saying. That’s actually a good idea to add. Cooling definitely helps the pads and rotors.

I decided to jump on the bandwagon and purchased a pair of calipers from Porsche Parts Merriam today! Pretty excited to install 4 piston calipers on my S4. Just have to figure out which pads to go with.
