When the valves are closed, volume is reduced for a more low-profile comfortable drive. With our latest technology, just one click on the remote control will setup any rpm to automatic mode. The automatic mode enables the system to detect the engine RPM to intelligently switch comfort/racing exhaust profiles. Users can also opt to simply switch valve on/off mode as desired by remote control when driving. Furthermore, the muffler internals are individually designed and fabricated for each car model, a perfect testament of our insistence on producing the best customized products in the market with our Valvetronic technology for ultimate performance. Each product has its own unique sound acoustics and performance, all to add the "extra" in extraordinary.

How much are these and what motor does it fit? You say you are in CA but did the US even get 1.8T cars as shown in your video? You also only offer BMW and Merc exhausts on your website..

The EA888 has two engine sizes. The 1.8T and the 2.0T. I believe the A3 and VW Golf currently has the 1.8t EA888

The video was shot in Asia so they shot a 1.8T A4 version.

This system fits the B8 and B8.5 A4.

How do you switch modes?

How does auto mode work? If it's anything like my Armytrix, i assume you have a key fob and have to plug into obdII and leave a dongle attached?

Do they default open or closed?

It comes with the Fi remote control. The default is off.

There is a OBDII module (additional) that allows you to control the valve from a smartphone application.
You can make it so it always stays on, always stays off, open at a PSI, open at a RPM, or open at a selected MPH.

I had this exhaust on my B8 after having both armytrix and AWE installed for a short time, and this system is by far the best sounding. Quite mode is perfect for cruising and valves open absolutely screams without sounding raspy or ricey. The obdII control is awesome too, opens valves automatically at a given rpm so you can let it rip when really accelerating! Very cool system, props to the sound engineers that worked on this.
