So i bought my S4 a month ago and have been driving it a bit (while its still nice weather) and at 110k miles (original motor No Chain rattle) i have experienced Oil burning a typical and normal thing for a B6 S4 especially with a car with 100k+ miles. Now im using 5W40 Fuchs oil and im burning about a quart for 1000 miles which according to Audi is OK, so browsing JHM's web site for some goodies i have noticed they offer a Oil Change Service for the S4 with a Oil Filter and 2 5 liters of 10W60 Lubro Moly, Which is standard M3/M5 Engine Oil. My cousin used to own a 2005 BMW X5 4.8is and those things burn oil (they all have valve stem seal issues) that car used 5W30 from factory and when he switched to 10W60 it improved drastically or should i say his consumption dropped 50%. Now i'm no expert but if JHM (Which to me is the #1 in the B6/B7 Game) offers this oil due to the known oil consumption on our cars (as described on their web site) i was just wondering if any of you are running 10W60 and what experience have you had so far
