the other similar competitor models you see do use 10.25 and are similar, but Daniel's unit is much better and has better hardware, better upgraded software, etc. it is much more worth it and will last better, the other units are slow outdated hardware and low specs and also old version of Android so they are not nearly as good. this has much better hardware, newer Android 6.0 OS and more.

also yes you can use Audi UI on Daniel's unit, you can switch between the factory Audi UI to control everything and then also the Android UI so you can do both and will not lose any functionality.

This was available at an initial stage, and I dropped it because of its crappiness and bugs. IMO, it was dangerous to operate this without the steering wheel buttons work.
Since steering wheel dev is nearly finished, we may revive it back, but would take another eternity to make it usable.

I heard that our software teams hourly wage is $3.5 ~ 5 USD. Can't complain about their unwillingness to work in time.

So, Sq_A4 is the second person in the world who's receiving his 10.25" today. How lucky is he, because all the other shipments are grounded and waiting to hop in a fat DHL 747 operated by Polar Air. We shipped almost every 10.25" order a week ago, but still many can't even get their tracking code working or no tracking code is yet available.

Guess how happy shipping companies are with that. DHL and China Post(for EMS) are few of them.
Currently, DHL HongKong reports 2 weeks of backlog, and China Post is about a week or so.
Since our contract with DHL is 'Express', DHL is pushing for 5 business days for now.
How 'express' is that ?!

I am a bit worried about USPS(for EMS) because, after Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale, USPS tends to operate in a coma.
Canada Post would be doing the business as usual - 'laissez-faire and it will arrive some day.'

The actual transit is actually 3 to 5 days. But, a lot is in queue for airplanes. Possibly, i think it has something to do with how our shipping forwarder works.

I don't understand why you are complaining when you didn't even buy.

A budget shipping option is there. It's called EMS. and I clearly said I am not going to offer cheaper options in light of possible loss in transit without tracking.

Also, why do I have to suck up the loss for the delay that I didn't cause? I am not the one who made $25 billion sales in a day and caused the massive disruption in logistics.

Do you really think I am making fortune here? I kept saying I'm willing to do so if there is cheaper and reliable option, but I didn't find any yet.

I made about 100 transactions by far now, and just sent a complete replacement for the 2nd person who bought the stuff from me in light of erratic behaviour in cold temperature(for the old version of the device).

I am saying I am not missing anyone and serving them for what I am paid, regardless of 'the terms of condition' that I acquired from the early beta testers.

Exactly, this is what I mean.
Could be great if reinclude or something similiar if this is unstable.
I use different wince units but sellers were of ass*oles, just bought it they disappear and none care about bugs. You attracted my attention with unit because you you're taking care of all process (bugs, shipping ect.) and I think this will be my choice.

also it is only the busiest shopping season of the year, amazon and other big domestic retailers are having shipping delays of their own within the country, so what are you expecting from this coming all the way from China. there's no reason to refund anything regarding shipping, it's not like it's delayed for a month or something.

Customers usually have little or no say at all re development, options, shipping, etc. From the beginning Daniel's been very forthcoming and has kept an open channel with everyone whether in PMs, emails or through the various threads.
It is quite unfortunate that some consider this an opportunity to complain about anything and everything... Even then Daniel remains calm and courteous when anyone would just ignore or fire back at gratuitous attacks...
Daniel, keep up the good job and know that we're all (well the vast majority) behind you.And like Liquid Smoke said we are (as we should) very grateful for all your efforts and for bringing these awesome products to us/the market!

Daniels level of commitment is beyond what I would ever get from pretty much any store or company I can think of.

I’m actually in Montreal right now with Daniel doing some testing and comparisons with the beta unit. I received an early model two weeks ago, and will now receive the version that is being shipped out to others right now.

Having personally met Daniel, I can assure you he has very high integrity and standards of quality.

The units are top notch!

As far as shipping costs, Daniel could have charged a higher unit cost to hide the shipping within the unit cost. Instead he is being very transparent and charging a very minimal markup on the unit, and then passing along the actual shipping costs.

We ARE very lucky to have this unit available to us, and at this price. I feel confident that Daniel will continue to succeed, he will be shipping in larger volumes and then may be able to negotiate better shipping rates etc.

Everyone that has seen this unit Installed is blown away with how well it works, looks and functions.
