Exhaust flap soft code elimination

For those who have soft codes from unplugging the exhaust flap actuators, you can eliminate those codes by plugging in a 1K ohm 1/2 watt resistor into the harness as shown in the picture below. I think AWE sells a fancier plug solution for about $50. A 20 pack of resistors cost me $3. I'm just going to add a dab of glue to keep it in place and then tuck the harness up into the bumper.

I'm curious, are the no solutions to provide absolute control over it from in the car--I've never looked?

CETE has an exhaust module that allows you to controle it (2xESP button open or keeps it closed + comfort/dynamic is recoded better).
An other brand (was it milltek) has a simular one. AWE has remote module....
*loving my CETE module (pricy for what it does, but when catless and non res mill you kinda want controle of your flaps :) ).

As Dasquade notes, CETE makes a module that changes how the exhaust valve is controlled. You fit the module and the modes are as follows:

Dynamic - Valves are Fully Open at All RPM (Also starts with valves open when car restarted if car was in dynamic at previous shutoff, no need to open them again)
Automatic - Standard Factory Valve Behavior
Comfort - Valves Remain Fully Closed until 5000rpm

Also as mentioned you can double tap the ESP button to immediately open or close the valves. Just installed one of these in the S5 Sportback project, nice little module and prefer the ability to control the valves in a way that doesn't have Audi making them open and close no matter the mode.
