If you get the Kiwi 3 OBD2 adapter it works perfectly well with all of my devices, Including my iPhone and the RSNAV 10.25”.

Daniel. Is there a trick to getting the backup camera working with the 3G unit? I get the overlay when I shift to reverse but no camera? I checked connections in the back of the MMI and the only thing not plugged in is the dark green coaxial port..I've looked quite a bit and don't see that cable dangling anywhere. I don't think I had it plugged in before.

Do you plan to fix the air bag light I'm getting for not having a passenger airbag disabled lamp?

Is your back up camera OEM or Aftermarket? It's better to take a picture of the backstage.

I sent a revised PCB to someone here in the forum and once he gives okay sign, we'd begin shipping the board to you.

I'm in the same boat with an OEM backup camera. Overlay comes up, but no video. The dark green port was empty on mine as well, so don't think the cable was ever there. If you switch to the Audi Interface after putting the car in reverse, you can see that the camera image is indeed still coming through to the stock system. Question is, how do we connect the stock camera to the RSNAV?

Eh.. for OEM camera, you go realsun setting and change rear camera type to original. Then it will display the stock system.

Yep, that did it! Thanks! Funny thing is that I didn't even realize the realsun settings went down that far. I thought it stopped at upgrade, lol. Still, the stock backup sensors don't seem to work with the little image on the right.

Also, us Yanks could use a setting for changing the climate control popups from C to F. Unless I missed that too.

Nevertheless, awesome system so far, and those two are far from top of the issue list.

eh... it should work with the back up sensors... may be CANBUS decoder is not picking up signal properly... sigh...

Also, C to F conversion will be done in next firmware update which is due in soon along with the addition and refinement of steering wheel support.

It's crazy but never expected 'a copyright issue' of 'plastics' in 'china'.
So, ETA is really unknown. Trying to smuggle some plastics for existing three orders, but that doesn't seem easy either.
Trying to come up with 'copyright' free housing, but tooling plastics take time.

Hmm, sounds like this could be a prolonged delay based on this update..

Sight unseen, this configuration seems to be the best all-around option in the sense that:
1: largest screen size that can fit in the existing screen space within the dash.
2: maintains an “OEM” like appearance.

Well, I’ll hold out a bit more but, if you foresee this not being a viable option due to these copyright issues, then I’d have to look into the 7” to maintain that OEM look.

Do keep us posted and thanks for all your continued efforts.

Would also be nice if the seat heaters have the same pop-up that the climate controls have.

Indeed, it would be nicer but wondering if our geniouses did. Not working yet in my beta.

I think we have to open the complete souce codes so that good devs can join us.

I am leaving for East Asia next Monday morning.
For initial ten days, it will be personal stuff in Korea like friend's wedding.
Then hopping into China to pull some hairs.

It's my objective to clear out all the glitches by the end of the month. Also, I will get the source code of the system image so that many other developers can jump in and making the device better. A kernel dev showed his interest of porting our device to Android 7.

Be rest assured that I am working on it to deliver every promise.

Received my unit long time ago in November but was not able to install it until just before holidays. I'm really happy with it and even managed to get the camera working! I haven't done the update yet that you emailed, I think it was mentioned it fixes the backup camera lines not moving when turning steering wheel. I will update the unit asap.

Question: is there a way to adjust the lines a bit wider? Now they don't correlate the width of the car.

Looks like on the facelifts the reverse light is only on the outer part cos nothing lights up on the trunk when I put the gear in reverse...

Eh.. for that we need to update our MCU... I will check if that's doable when I am in China and if doable I will make that happen.
I also complained about that long time before, but they tend to forget it.

You should do a scan to see if there are other issues besides the fuse. Did you replace the fuse with the same amp? Need a little more information with what went wrong.

    You fried your board.
It's much likely there was a power surge or short while you are handling wires or you may hook up something unnecessary to it.

Send it back to us and we will repair it for you.

Now I am on a flight and contact me over the website.

    No no no it's impossibleeeeee.
All work all is ok.... There is only something that not cut off power to the navi unit
I have to try with vag and vcds to reset all error... Maybe then all work normally
Another way... Can you suggest me an app that can shut down or put in standby the navi?

    Ok... What have i done...
I try to link the red cable of rear cam instead of brown for testing if the flickering of cam go away.... And a saw the cam always on... In the fifth gear such as in rear gear... Then i relink all as istruction... And the red cable touch somewhere and fried a fuse.....
Now replace the fuse always with 5amp and only the display stay on.....
