SMIC's perform really well. I would only go FMIC if I really needed additional charge air cooling capacity or if I wanted everyone to see how cool I was. If you are tracking the car, SMIC provide benefit of not stacking your cooling cores, i.e. more surface area to radiator without a huge FMIC in the way. Your choice, but I would go SMIC.

Also, did you start cutting the body up yet? Start cutting it up already! I would rather see that than watching you open boxes...I can watch myself opening my own boxes.

No cutting going on yet but it's getting there and thank you for the reply on the intercooler really want to get it right and yes I kind of figured you know that look wise the front mouth intercooler will be it in your face but I also want to take in performance-wise is it a good idea or not

Will it be a track car or a street car? I agree with the advantage of having side-mounts on the track by not having to stack cores. But also think about where youíll run your brake cooling hoses if you do track the car. I assume since the majority of the body will be gone you wonít have a problem with side mount coolers and running hoses to cool the brakes. Iíd have a hard time running side mounts because Iíd have to come up with something creative for my brake cooling hoses on my car.

Yes the car will see lots of track time and as far as panels the only thing left in the car will be floor pan and firewall everything else will be gone, as far as the brake Cooling I still haven't figured out how I'm going to route
    Thank you for the info

From reading past posts on audizine I don't think anyone here will like it... That being said I'm young and think wings on some cars look cool but not the S4 it just makes it look like pure rice.

This is call sport shifter because of the brand but you're not actually replacing the shifter So it doesn't improve or anything like that and the actual shifter feel this is More of a cosmetic upgrade Which it includes shifter trim shifter boot and shift knob there you get to pick what weight Shift knob you like

But this is call a shifter because the makers calling it a shifter but this is more like the booth trim and shifting up this doesn't do anything as the performance aspect of the actual shifter Some still thinking of maybe getting the other shifter I think it will suit the car better look wise and it will perform much better than stock from what I heard

How long do the exo cars take to build? Will it still be the same suspension geometry as an s4?

Yes it's going to keep all the suspension from the S4 and drive train which its all going to be upgraded with performance parts the only thing that is going to change drastically it's the body.

And I should have it all complete by summer 2018

Cosmetic only. I remember when they first started selling on the site. It wasnít that long ago. For the price and the lack of any Performace upgrade what so ever Iím actually surprised you went with them.

They were looking to collaborate with JHM to fit their short shifter, but that didnít go anywhere from what I recall.

You may want to consider using because it is pretty cool, but then your stuck using the oem shifter, linkage, and cross bar.

You may just want to look at the JHM weighted linkage and upgraded cross bar which will help with the feel of the oem shifter... thatís what I did and itís great, but Iím holding out for the JHM shortshifter just based how my build was going.

buy some Oracal 6510 or 7510 fluorescent yellow vinyl and find someone who can screen print on it, as fluorescent vinyl isn't machine printable. make the labels you need and then mount a led strip blacklight on the ceiling or bar, where ever give the best exposure to the labels.
or you can go the budget route, buy the vinyl, get a label maker and some clear tape with black font, print your labels, stick it on the vinyl and then cut it out. not as nice but it works.

you have quite the tall order ahead of you with this build. i am honestly not sure if this thread is serious or not, you seem to be a little lost on lot of the things you are going to do. i would have my plan rock solid before i cut my car to pieces, but thats just me.......
