Thoughts on RS design package.

So I haven’t seen this package in person. In photos is ranges from boy racer to looking really good. Anyone with the package have good photos especially of the knee pads on the center console and thoughts on living with it?

I got it on my Catalunya red on order. Gives the inside an aggressive look.

I have the RS Design Package and I love it. It blends in with everything else. The additional red stitching finishes the look of the interior for me. I also thought the red outline for the air vents were tacky based on pictures from configuring the car, however they look a lot nicer in person. It's a darker red and not as bright as the pictures depict

I like the RS design package but wish the A/C vent surrounds were piano black instead of red.. would look a bit classier with the rest of the red..

Depends on the color combo you're looking at re: fine line between boy racer and cool, but I will say the photos I've seen of actual customer cars look way better than the audiUSA car builder, particularly the seat ventilation which looks bonk online. Alcantara knee pads would be nice, but the 300 leatherette option will hold the aesthetics line while still keeping some money in the bank for something like second cat delete that will actually move the needle on driver enjoyment IMO.

I may take you up on this once I receive mine. It's the only thing that's been bothering me about the red. It looks a bit too much for my liking judging from every photo.

I wish there are options for blue audi vent instead of red. Totally would buy the sets. Does anyone know if such thing exist? Not talking about cheap clip you put on inner circle but aftermarket vent that replaces red rs design package vent to different color ones.

I personally love the design pack minus the red air vents.
Test drove a demo car with the design pack and it felt premium inside.

My rs3 has the all blk plain interior. Wish I had the design pack. I would gladly swap the air vents for the boring ones.. lol..

Lots of ppl out there buy the red rings just to spice up the interior. Not my cup of tea but makes it a super easy deal to swap with fellow Audi members

The floor mats alone on the design pack are worth ~$800-1000.

This is spot on. My current S3 is all black on the inside and very plain. The design package gives much needed contrast and makes it feel more special.

Went to dealer today and I'm happy with the non red sporty interior. Looks sporty enough without all that red.

Then again I'm going off the pictures posted since I haven't seen the RS package in person.

I did this. Posted before but RS design with full black air vents from Q2. Found some on eBay Germany. I've looked again for other people but couldn't find listings. I think you just have to get lucky.

Anyone know where to get the black outer ring of the vents (the knurled part that rotates to open and close)? Would like to replace the silver on mine. Lots of places sell the inner ring, but can't find the outer.

eBay Germany is where I got them. Look for Q2 luftduse schwarz.

Not sure what the part # is but you can buy the true oem version from europrice - https://europrice.us/air-vents-black
