Is there an accessible database somewhere where you can put put in your VIN and get what amounts to a build sheet for your vehicle listing what is on the car and not what could be on the car? BMW has this and it's very useful, especially when evaluating a used car. Is BMW just more anal than Audi?

    Hello,

Audi of America currently does not have a feature such as that in place at the moment. If you would like to send me your VIN I can generate the window sticker of the vehicle showing all equipment and packages and including the original pricing. All I require to do so is full name, VIN, and email address. Thank you!

Does not appear to work for my Audi VIN. The file it creates is a flawed Acrobat based file that Acrobat refuses to handle.

    As always YMMV!

You can try the VIN decoder here: http://igorweb.org/vindec.aspx

However, I usually just to use the option decoder to find what is on the car: http://igorweb.org/equidec.aspx (you can usually find your option codes printed on a sticker in your trunk, beneath the cover)

The option codes are significantly more accurate than a simple VIN decode.

@magn2o -- Neither of the 2 pages work for either my VIN or the Option Codes. Not sure if the author hasn't updated his decode tools for the 2018 model years or what - but thank you anyway.
