Fitment of OEM B8 S4 wheels w/ ET47?

I believe B7 S4 stock wheels are ET43. Would an ET47 offset have clearance issues, is there 4 mm of margin from stock? I already know hub rings are needed. Found threads on here where guys said they used spacers for this, but I didn't know if it was for aesthetics or if it was necessary to clear the caliper.

Looking to sell the wheels, not buy them so I don't care how they would look.

If i remember correctly, et45 is the max you can run in the front without a spacer but might be wrong
