    CAI for a 3.0???

I've searched high and low and can't seem to find any vendors who make a CAI for the 3.0 engine. Does anyone know of or run one on their 3.0? Thanks.

You mean a hot air intake? If you search a little more, no one makes one because the stock air box is already a cold air intake. It pulls air from the front edge of the car, so it won't real get colder than that. Most aftermarket solutions actually increased intake temps.

+1, best would be to do the Zingo/Zimbu airbox mod

I made my own CAI. Sounds good and looks great. Just need to finish the heat shield and I’ll be good to go.69812638307__00EA262A-B8FB-4012-8082-50BD1553FC0C.jpg

How and what did you make that out of? I'm going to be doing similar but I'm very curious How you did the inlet to the manifold!

So I ditched the factory elbow off the throttle body, and used a 3” 90 degree silicone coupler. The intake tubes I had laying around from previous projects. U will need (2) 3”x3.5” straight reducer hoses for the MAF. And I just went with a K&N Cone filter. I still need to fab up a heat shield to keep temps down further. I run the factory snorkel from the grill to over the filter; works awesome and intake air temps are hardly ever more than 10-15 warmer than ambient while moving.
