    Left Side Engine Cover Hardware

I'm working on cleaning up the engine bay on my 2007 (B7) S4, and I've purchased the left side engine cover in the process:

The only problem is that I did not realize that my car does not have to hardware to support this cover. It appears to have all of the same mounting locations, just missing the fasteners. I know that I need a ball type screw to fit onto the coolant tank like this:

I'm not sure what mates with the clips next to steering reservoir cap, and behind the headlight. If anyone has any leads/part numbers on these three fasteners, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am after the same parts, I need the right side as well. My covers are just floating in there right now. I think I need a rivet tool for bracket on the radiator end of the left side cover.

Wow, that's absolutely fantastic, thanks for that. I ran out to check the radiator support, and the rivet holes for the bracket were even there already. An image search for that bracket led me to this photo as well which shows all of the parts that you've quoted, as well as their quantities:

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

I only used one of everything, except for the rivets, which you need two of. The ball goes at the back and the grommet/bushing/bolt/distance piece etc. goes at the front. There is another attachment hole on the side nearest the fender, which might be where the other set of "two of everything" goes. I didn't fit that to mine as the quantities listed on the parts catalog I looked at I think was one each. If you find that the other set does go on the side, let me know and I'll get that fitted on the wife's car too.

Great info, thanks. I too am upgrading the engine covers under my B6 S4. If you have the needed hardware and parts numbers for the RT side (passenger side) it would be greatly appreciated.
