    Hi there

Since 9 et35 is super safe from your quote. Just wonder if i can go 9.5j 19 et35 with conti sports contact6 245 35 r19 tyre?

I actually measure the space from OEM to fender lip. I personally concerned that there is a chance to rub. But I saw some of the member do have this setup 9.5 et35 19 no rubbing. Need your opinion.

Zero chance of rub with 245. You could even go 255, and rubbing would be a very rare occurrence. Here is 19x9.5 ET35 on 255/35 -

19 x 8.5 Axis FL01, with 255 Pilot Sport AS3+. My car was delivered with OE 19s and summer tires, and that clearly wasn't going to work where I live. These wheels have actually been growing on me since delivery, as they go really well with the fact that the car doesn't have black optics...and they're comically easy to clean.

    Wow wheels look pretty nice.

If I keep 245 35 OEM tyre on 9.5j rim. Would it be any safety issue?

    They do!

No safety issues at all. But I would upgrade to the 255/35 when the 245 wear out. The 255 simply looks better.

I recall this customer stating zero rubbing after removing that trim piece at the rear. And he was on EMD springs. And notice, that is a thick 255, so that sidewall profile is not favorable for a rub free setup.

Those specs look spot-on to me. And I think -1.5 rear will be plenty. You should be good to go!

Some awesome set ups on here and great inspiration

I dont like the standard 19 wheels on my S4 Avant and looking to change them. They appear a bit bland / safe on the car and looking for something that stands out more.

Sizes and offsets seem hit or miss it seems

Car is not lowered but plan to go with Eibach springs at some stage. Tyres are the original 245/35/19

    I saw these... 9.5 x 19 et 42... any ideas on fit?

Thatll work. You could do a 265/35 tire, and Id go that route if you want a meatier tire (especially if you are not lowered).

A 255/35 will look OK if youre lowered, but Id consider a small 5mm spacer.

What about the stock 245 tyres? Will they work on a 9.5?

Id go to 255 when they need replacing, but with only 4k miles on them Id be looking to use them...

Theyll work, but its quite a bit of stretch on the tire depending how you feel about that. It definitely wont look great at stock height.

Debating between these two rims. Id like to use the stock 19 inch tires that came with the car. Do either of these have a better or worse fit? Not sure on the 8.5 vs 8.0 and the offset. Advise please?

Yep, the 8" will fit pretty much just like the stock wheels. I was only stating the better fitment.

I went 255, and it looks much better IMO. 265 would work too, but may require 5mm spacers to clear the suspension.

Will there be any performance issues? Or just in general?

I like the 19x 8 a bit more than the others. But I know they are a 0.5 less. Just have no clue on what that really is going to translate to in real world use. And my stock tires will for this?

The stock tires will work just fine, and they'll fit pretty well. You could do 5mm spacers for a great final fit.
