Hey guys. I'm in process of ordering wheels for my S4 and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for tires. The wheels are going to be 19x9.5 with a +35 offset.

I'm looking at Falken Azenis FK510 or Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 in a 255/35r19.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

I’d go with the 500s. I just got mine in last week and can’t wait to put them on. From what I understand they’re basically a rebranded Bridgestone re003.

@mrobbie - looks awesome with the spacer. You guys get great wheel options for the S4. My favorite are the "flower" wheels.

Bit of rubbing at the rear:



2 options I guess:
1: raise it a bit all round
2: bit of camber and cut out liner and tab thing

So i picked up my b9 in July 18’ I’m a technik with rear sport diff. My oem are 19x8.5 et40 on 245/35/19 my winter set up is 19x9.5 et35 gts av wheels 255/35/19 . My summers in the box waiting for the snow to be mounted are 20x9 et38 niche gamma . Drop I’m looking at a spring I’m unsure what to look at for drop I do track the car open lapping and 1/4mi drag. Any ideas are greatly appreciated tia.

It's been done on a B9 A4. I'm not certain they'll clear the S4 calipers. I LOVE that wheel. Let me see if I can find pics.

Thanks man. Hmmm the deal may go down today. The et26 would mean I really couldn't add spacers to clear the calipers either..can I ask what aspect of the wheel makes you think it won't clear?

For sure! And they will likely clear... I just couldn't say for sure. Moderate concave, small rotors and large calipers don't always play well together, but those wheels are in high demand and you could re-sell them easy. I say do it!

He informed me today they're actually off an S6. So, ET45. No concave. Still contemplating getting them though, cause they should require zero headache to put on the car, zero rubbing, and I can just space them out. Should be easy to sell after I'm bored, too.

So I’m looking for new wheels again. Stumbled on these from a 2018 S7 with new stock pirellis (seller upgraded to 21” at the dealership). I worry about them being too large.
The wheels are 20x9 ET 37 and the tires are 265/35’s. Will this look like crap on my S4?

Well for one thing the tires will definitely be too big. From my understanding they also won’t sit very flush. I think in order for us to fit 20’s they would need to be 245/30 and you’d want a lower offset, around 20-25.

I’m probably wrong tho. Still learning this platform myself. Waiting for Mops to reply lol

Mops (obviously) is on the money. You're going to have to get rid of those tires. I just bought a set of 20" rotors that came off an S6, with 255/35/20 tires on them. I ordered 255/30/20 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 (previously ran these on my 550whp Z06 with amazing results) for right around $600 shipped. My S6 rotors are et45. 10mm spacer behind them at all four corners.



I am REALLY excited for the 034 springs tomorrow. It looks a lot better than I expected on stock suspension, but it's going to look insane with the right drop.
