No spacers needed at all as long as the wheel is designed for the car. 9.5 +35 is actually aggressive. 9.5 +40 is a solid fit with 265/35.

Yep, 19x9.5 +35 is a nice fit with 255/35. I just ordered some BC in the exact spec for a B9 S4.

For those wondering about 19x9.5 +40, I test fit my avant garde M310s today and they do in fact clear the front brakes and suspension. Fit all the way around. I’m not lowered, all stock suspension.

Here are a few, not the best pics but I already took them off the car. They might clear because of the concave on these at 9.5"

A few reasons - they definitely need to be refinished b/c I was a dumbass when I had them on my B8 (curb rash, damage from previous installs at Discount Tire...). And I actually discovered one of the tires was damaged pretty badly and wasn't worth risking a blowout, as I'd planned to run them at the track. Once I get a new set of tires and the wheels cleaned up, I'll put them back on.

Not sure on the alignment, but will certainly have it checked when I reinstall them.

Ok I need some help from the wheel/tire gurus. I bought a set of AG M621 19x9.5 with a 32offset (recommended by the sales person) and of course I needed spacers for the front wheels to clear these massive brakes. Without spaces the rim is just and I mean just touching the brake. The rear wheel seems to be almost flush which I can live with. I bought and installed 5mm spacers for the time being, but I really do not like the way it pokes out the whole rim past my fenders seeing as I bought these wheels in the states and I am from Canada I may be a little screwed. So my question to you guys is do you think I could get away with 3mm spacer instead of 5mm? I have included pictures to give you guys an idea of what I am working with and yes my car is dirty lol. I also haven't had an alignment, not sure if they could possibly fix with a bit of camber?

A bit of camber would go a long way. But I'm not sure how much camber adjustment you have up front. For the spacers, we would need to see how much room you have. I would line a spoke up to where it's as close as it will be to the caliper, and get your phone in there for the some pics. Like this...

But it may still be hard for us to tell from that pic. You could also measure to see how much room you have currently.

Ok I took a couple more.

    Looks like .5cm gap

    After 5mm spacer

Am I screwed here? I really don't want to take these off, but it looks like I don't have much choice unless I want to look like a riced out honda

I could probably get away with the 3mm spacer but It will still poke out quite a bit right?

You weren't lying... you almost cleared without the 5mm. I'd certainly get some 3mm and go from there. You could even try 2mm.

So we're looking at 9.5 ET27 with spacer?

You should have never been sold ET32. That is not a plug and play fit. And certainly not wheels that do not clear. ET35 is the most aggressive I support, unless the customer is aware and familiar with the situation they'll be dealing with.

Here is 9.5 ET32. With the 3mm, you'd be pretty close. And a drop to add some negative camber up front would help a good bit too.

Mine are 19x9.5 et32 then the 5mm spacer. Believe it or not I actually bought them from a dealer on this website, he told me it would be aggressive but I never expected it to be like this. He also hasn't responded to my emails! big surprise!

I know this is a long shot, but would Avant Garde possibly switch them for me with a restocking fee? otherwise I think im stuck buying a new set locally and throw these up for sale unfortunately.
Im sure it will be about a $500 hit all said and done. I didnt even expect the tires to look this stretched, but I guess thats what I get for buying in the states

how come yours looks so flush, would the drop somehow help?

I really wasnt planning on doing any suspension mods at this time, I really just wanted a nice set of 19" with a bit of concave

Aggressive would be 19x9.5 ET35 no spacer. So many factors.

As for AG, I have no idea. That would be in-between you and your supplier.

Take a look below. More pics of ET32 with a drop. You need to have your supplier send you 2mm and 3mm spacers no charge so you can play with it. I think you'll be good. And yes, the camber from the drop makes big difference.

Im not the type to go name bashing, but he never said anything about spacers... Hopefully he responds to my emails soon and can do something about it.

Is that your car on the 9.5 et32 3mm spacer? You wouldn't happen to have a picture of the wheels on before the drop would you? also could you possibly show how much poke they have from a top angle? If I can make them flush looking like yours from doing a drop, I may just go that route.

I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out!

Another question that just came to me; what about possibly changing the front brakes to something with a smaller diameter? not sure if we even have an option on our cars yet.

Don’t mess with the brakes. And you’d need larger brakes/rotors, to help the situation.

I’ve never been about it either. Give them 24 hours. Mistakes do happen.

And that’s not my car, and there are no before drop pics with that setup. Only the pics in that Flickr. The owner used to be around daily but dropped all of the sudden.

And those are 19x9.5 et37 with 5mm, so effective ET32. Not optimal but with the drop it worked out well.

Sorry to be short. On my mobile working out

    Mops@Nemesis & everyone,

    I just got myself a 2018 B9 S4 (P+, sports pack, etc)...here is she is:

I've been spending my last week, hours a day, trying to figure out how to get some decent classy looking wheels where I can have the thickest rear tire possible (265 min, 275 preffered).

    * I know this car is made for non-staggered setups due to quattro, but I'm usually driving in Dynamic mode (80% power to rear), so I'm ok with staggered if need be.
    * I really don't care about having the same exact wheel construction for front and back. I can go less concave, with different offset, AND spacer (to clear sports brakes) in fronts, as long as the rear looks aggressive, something like this:

Josh@getyourwheels has been helping me and he's been great so far, and I would certainly appreciate any help here!

    @ssabripo Congrats! Great spec!

If it were mine, and I had your wants, I would be looking at BC Forged. And I would do a 9.5 square setup, but max out the concave at front/rear. So in the end, you'd have a more concave profile at the rear. I've done a couple of these for B9 cars. You could even a do a 100% flat front to exaggerate the rear concave profile. Here is 9.5/265 -

10" is just not needed or optimal, and 275/35 is too wide/tall on a 9.5 IMO. And 275/30 is too thin.

    Maybe that is helpful 👍🏼

    Thanks Mops!

I'm actually thinking of going 20's. My initial thoughts where:

    Forgestar F14:

    A) 20x9 +35, semiconcave, 265/30r20 all arounds.

    OR

    B) 20x9 +35 semiconcave fronts, 20x9.5 +35 deep concave rears, and 265/30 all around

    OR

    C) 20x9 +35 semiconcave fronts, 20x9.5 +35 deep concave rears, 265/30 fronts and 275/30 rears

NOT a huge fan of the BC forged, but anything that resembles the F14 or the InCurve IC-S5 is perfectly fine with me

once again, thanks for your help!

hehehe, thank you good sir. I will definitely post when time comes.

Now I have to find some springs that give it a decent drop but not super aggressive, and wont make ride too harsh.

Is it time yet?? I don't see pics! 😛

I run the ABT HAS. Height adjustable, and super comfy. Put them on your to consider list for sure.

Need some advice - picking up a new B9 S4 with sports pack this week. Want to put my 2012 b8 19 black optic rotars on it - any bolt or clearance issues ?

    Cheers in advance

You should have no issues at all. You'll likely want say 10mm spacers for a nice look, but should not be required.

    Welcome!

You won't have an issue finding B9 rotors. I sold mine for $1,250 brand new with tires.

    Post pics 😎
