Will 265/35/19 sit fine if offset is the same? I wanted to pick up a set of BBS CI-R @ 19x9 ET42 and stock is 18x8 ET40 so it seemed close enough to not need spacers or have rubbing issues.

Big time. Pushing the wheels out and setting the body down provides that perfect final look. All of the sudden, the lines and arches pop more than they did before.

Will 265/35/19 sit fine if offset is the same? I wanted to pick up a set of BBS CI-R @ 19x9 ET42 and stock is 18x8 ET40 so it seemed close enough to not need spacers or have rubbing issues.

19x9 ET42 on 265/35 will be a fantastic look. You'll be around 5mm short of flush. I believe both satin black and platinum silver arrived earlier this week.

Summer wheels are going on today. Crossing my fingers we don't see snow out here in Calgary.

I checked the forecast and put my summers on this weekend too. Then magically Sunday it gets cold and in the afternoon it started snowing. Lucky for me it was super light and didn't stick. Still looks like springtime temps for the next couple weeks so I may be alright.

Missed this one! The B9 S4 rotors are 19x8.5 and quite flat. The B8.5 S5 rotors are 19x9" and have great concave for a 9" wheel.

I just bought a 2018 S4 in black and am looking at buying 19" Cavos from a 2019 S5. 19 x 8.5J with Offset of 32. From what I understand by reading this thread, this isn't the optimal offset. Can anyone tell me if these would be fine and if I could get 255 tires on them? I'd be getting a good price but if they won't work I'll just buy the Hartmann version w/ ET38. Thanks for helping out a noob.

8.5 ET32 is quite perfect actually. But with stock 245 tires from the S4. I cannot say you'd be rub free with those on 255. If lowered, you'll certainly rub. Here is 19x8.5 ET40 with 10mm front and 12mm rear on 245 -

Still no great pics. I’ll try this weekend.

The rubbing.... With just me, I’ve only had really minor rubbing once in the rear over a big dip at 50mph. With that, I had 5 good sized adults in my car last night (which is probably the only time that will ever happen), and it rubbed pretty bad in the rear over any bump. I had 3 adults in the car earlier in the night, and had no rubbing. With me, my wife, and 35 lb kid, I have not had any rubbing.

No rubbing in the front in any of the above scenarios.

Regardless, it’s about what I expected. I’m going to start with dialing in a little more negative camber from -1 degree to -1.5, and reduce the toe a little. If it still rubs, I’ll remove the plastic pieces, and then trim the liner a little if needed. It appears to be rubbing on both of those things.
