My Avant Garde M590s just arrived. I'm really hoping they clear the front brakes so I don't have to buy spacers.

Thomas and I were talking about this at length the other day when I stopped by his shop. When we have the time, we're going to throw my car up and fuck around with the liner and some spacers (possibly...). See how aggressive we can go while not having any rub at all. I daily drive mine 100+ miles a day so I definitely don't want any rub while going driving on shitty SoCal freeways. I miss how my S3 sat so I'm shooting to get something similar for the S4. We'll see what happens.

Unfortunately they didn't clear the front brakes, so I ordered a set of 5mm spacers and 33 mm conical bolts to solve that problem.

Next hope/prayer, the 265/35/19s fit with no issue after a mild drop (Emmannuelle Design).

Yeah, definitely keep us updated. I've been considering 265/35's as well; though, mine are 20's. Take a lot of pics!

The B8 4's take 19x9.5 ET37 with 255/35 PSS and a healthy drop. We got da room :) I'll certainly be testing the fit more and more as time goes.

The FS comes in 19x8.5 ET42 flat face. That wheel shuts it down for RS3 offerings. Less than 20 pounds too.

I'm dropped on Emmanuele Design's springs so far. Waiting on Thomas to come out with his HAS kit so I can go a bit lower all around. While it's great for a daily driver right now, I'm not completely pleased with how it sits. Need to punch 'em out a bit more, as well.

The springs are great. I ran them on my S3 with zero issues and the same holds true for this platform. OEM+ is how Thomas always describes them to me and I can't help but agree. Nearly everyone that has sat in my car so far thought the suspension came like this from the factory. Easy install, as well. No mess. No fuss. No odd noises. The ride is great and your ride select still works flawlessly. I will easily drive 600 miles in a week and I love them honestly. I just want a touch more low with a more aggressive wheel fitment.

Nice, your ride looks great! I'm on the same springs with the factory 19s. The 5mm spacers with the ET40 AG M590s baaarely cleared the brakes, so I'm overnighting some 8mm spacers just to be on the safe side.

I'll likely be going the same route as you, once I get the new tires on with the wheels to finalize the stance.

I'm waiting on my white S4 B9 and I'm considering the HRE FFO4's in Liquid Metal.

Does anyone have any input on the KW HAS springs?

Well everything went on today. The 8mm spacers got the job done with clearing the front brakes, and definitely pushed the wheels out pretty aggressively (wheels are ET40). Removed the rear bump stops to alleviate rubbing.

Overall I like the wheels (don't really love them), and like the look of the meaty tires. Once I get a HAS setup I'll play around and see about keeping the wheels and tires, or consider going with a 255 tire and going lower with a more negative camber.

I'm contemplating the ABT HAS kit right now to play with once my spacers get in. Some upper control arms would be nice, too...

Oh it sure is. It rubbed horribly before removing the plastic pieces that were on the rear fender. Once those were removed, it was a rub-free ride home, even with toting my factory wheels and tires in the back....although I didn't drive too aggressively.

Look forward to seeing how you like the kit.

No rubbing at all after removing the plastic pieces on the fender, but keep in mind I havent hit any major bumps or driven too aggressively with them on yet. 265s should work just fine with a minor drop, especially if the offset isn't too aggressive. If I go lower and keep the 265s, I'll definitely let you all know if I run into any issues.

Yep, the plastic tab in the back. Drove it some more, and it's still rub free with those things removed.

I'm like 95% rub free but the front rubs pretty badly if I really dive into a turn. Things will probably only get worse with the spacers.

Currently I'm using the stock tires... Continental Sport Contact 6. 245/35/19. They are a bit stretched, but I was not going to throw away brand new rubber. next set will be 255.

Tommy's got me covered on the HAS kit. Didn't even know anyone had upper control arms for the car, though. Some camber adjustment for the front would be nice.
