I need to get around to installing mine. Did you do this on ramps, or jackstands? I'm built like an F1 driver so I should fit under there alright, but I'm not sure if the ramps get it high enough.

Did it on ramps, the clamps at the back was a tight squeeze, but doable. Im about 5'9" and 160lbs for reference.

Solid mounting using a small set screw that locks in a pressure bar from the bottom; so no 3M tape used. Took less than a minute per side to install.

It extends the oem paddles about 2-3 inches in both directions which really makes a difference when shifting. Itís allows you to have your hands in a much more natural driving position while still having access to shift. Did some shifting in and out of turns as well which is also much easier. Good stuff indeed.
I have these also and agree that the quality and mounting system is good, but one thing Iím finding is that I donít like the extra width that they add to the paddles. I also noticed that if shifted from the very top of the extension, the car will frequently execute a double shift (if the trans allows it given the situation), I guess itís due to the angle that it causes the shifter to operate at. I was able to repeat it pretty reliably upshifting when accelerating hard out of 2nd, it will shift to 4th. Have you noticed anything like that?

I'm guessing that's the RS TCU logic, if you hold the paddle just a millisecond too long it'll choose the highest usable gear it can, same on downshifts. I thought my car was broken when I first got it since I had grown lazy on tapping the paddles in my B8.5 S4 as it will only shift 1 gear at a time regardless of how long the paddle is held. I'd shift from 1st to 3rd or 4th frequently the first few days of ownership. Definitely could be an angle that causes shifting from the top of the paddle to hold the shift just a tidge too long.

Yes I noticed the same, pretty sure thatís what it is. I think the angle caused by the extension just keeps the paddle pressed a slight bit longer. I guess in the future a TCU tune could slightly increase the time.

I havenít noticed double shifting as you described but I have accidentally shifted a few times going for the wheel. Itís going to take a bit to get used to them being there as Iíve been driving it since September without them.

Ahhhhh. Yes. That could be whatís happening. Iíll try out different shift positions and see if I can replicate it.

The RS3 shifting definitely acts differently than that of my previous RS5. I drive in manual mode all of the time and use the stick 90% of the time. Me being slow on the stick in the RS3 has resulted in many double shifts. This did not happen in the RS5. Something I need to get used to.

Just got this from FedEx, but have ~100 miles to go to break the initial 500 miles :(
Had the car since the second, and got my max MPT, that was JUST shy of 200 miles to 14 gallons (I run it to "0 miles to go," often) of Shell 93 fill-ups (I fill until the 1st nozzle click, and then STOP).

Edit: Much love to Uni, for getting it to me sooooo fast. <3

    Looks very nice Scotty

Any more exhaust rattle with the Milltek? Have you tried to drive/rev in comfort mode to see if the rattle still persists?

The rattle on cold start is fine just hoping you can confirm what happens after..

    Cheers.
