    Carbon Fiber repair

I bought a used Carbonio carbon fiber intake from a fellow AZiner. Unfortunately, the clear coat or epoxy finish is worse than what was described and is peeling/flaking from the engine bay heat.

For those in the know. Is the clear layer a paint type top coat or is it epoxy? I'll need to strip it all off and would like to know the best method to do so.

    Thanks.

Wetsand it with 600 , than clear coat it ( or use gelcoat) prefer clest coat. Let it dry for few days than wetsand with 1000 and 2000 and biff it show room finish

We do lot of carbon fiber on mclaren vehicles and we also make parts from scratch. Easiest way to fix it.
