    Diode Mod engine stuttering issue

    Hi.

Now many of you may hate on me for this but to make it clear, i did it cuz i wanted to see what it did and get a little more boost.

    So to the topic.
    I have a 2004 1.8Ts Quattro BEX 190hp.
I did the diode mod with a 4.3v Zener Diode.
It boost like crazy now and i love it!
At first startup it boost to 20psi and stutters like crazy, i believe the fuel cut is there somewhere.
But then it goes up to 15psi and holds 15psi solid all the way to around 4800rpm before it tapers off.
But it hits 15psi at around 2300rpm and pulls like crazy up to that but then stutters all the way to 3000rpm before it pulls again.

I know my N75C is shot because one fitting/nipple is completely shut but what besides that can cause the stutters just at those rpms?
Should i install my mbc to control the boost more so it dont spike 20psi and tune it like so i can not reach above 16-17psi?

Increase to 15psi max, and control it with an mbc. I think this is how people did it back in the days. Even though you add more boost, there is no mapping for it. The ECM is still requesting stock boost and you are throwing more air at it, which in turn makes the car run more lean. The ECU can compensate but for so much by adding more fuel if you have a wideband primary o2 sensor, but that does not account for ignition timing or retard timing as a by product.
I hate it when my car acts like a little bitch, treating me like a bitch
