I hear you. Ecodes are my personal #1 mod. Deval is probably the best looking diffuser/lip for these cars. Looking forward to seeing it once installed
Agreed - I like the ride height as it is now, its not embarrassing because some for some people its a 4x4.
But if the ride height dropped a further 0.5", I'd be elated! I am not overly disappointed with the springs because the ride quality, both on street and track, is a solid 5/5 so I think that compensates for the height there

Absolutely! You know, I haven't taken a lot of pictures with the new wheels...thanks for reminding

You guys got me intrigued, so I just measured my 2012 B8 with stock springs and Koni shocks. Rears were just a tad over 26, fronts 26.25 I run 245 40 18 tires on 18 X 8.5 VMR 810's. Yours are at 27 inches and 26 7/8? Pretty sure my springs are stock--just plain black OE looking ones on there. PO did not seem to do any performance stuff on the car at all, so I doubt he swapped out the springs and left the stock shocks. Wonder why mine are nearly an inch lower--and I am not complaining. car only has 22K on it, so it's doubtful they are sagged. Always thought my car looked a little lower than some others i had seen though. A mystery

For what it's worth, my bone stock 2015 s4 w/ads measures 27 1/4" exactly on all 4 corners.

The drop shown in the latest pictures looks perfect to me. An OEM+ look. Seriously considering getting these.

I believe the Koni's are a tad shorter than the oem shocks to begin with. Also have an adjustment perch on them that you can make the car a half inch lower. At least that's how mine were on another platform.

Also, wwapped the tires to 255/35 since I was rubbing, on 265/35, while driving on/off the ramps and driveway. Measured the FTG once again and they've dropped a little bit. The tires don't look stretched as I thought they would.

I was thinking about ecodes but at a later time. Gonna install the DEVAL rear diffuser in a few weeks.
So you don't rub at all with 255/35s?

On a side note your car looks almost the same as mine, just different blue :D I'm in philly too!

Just checking back in to see how you still like the ride quality a month later, if 034 ever got back to you on the ride height, and if these have settled anymore?

Sorry, I've been traveling the whole month of August due to work - browsing AZ became tougher :)

I sent a couple of follow up emails to 034Motorsport and spoke to Samuel from Tech Support. Explained the spring lowering issue and he said there was nothing they could do to make it go lower. The best he could do is refund me the whole cost if I return the springs...and I put on a new one, which will only be expensive and too much of a hassle for me. Told him that I am happy with the ride quality but the height could've been a bit lower as they advertised a 1" drop. After a good 30 min conversation, we came to a conclusion that their tests weren't performed on all car model variants so it wasn't a guaranteed 1" drop. The same spring could very well be used on other cars, like S3, Allroad, too!

Now, they modified the advertisement on their website about the springs and added the word "approximately" to the front and rear drop.

    Coming to the FTG:
If you remember, I had the 265/35 tires first. Later, I switched to the 255/35 tires and measured the FTG.
Both front and rear measure 26 1/4" approximately at this point.

Have you installed these springs too?

Hey there!! No, I don't rub at all.
Sometimes I feel I should go lower...then the fender rubbing scares me...then I think I am good at this ride height with the wheel offset

I drove to Boston, Newport-RI, Portsmouth-NH and Portland-ME this Labor Day weekend. Driving through New Hampshire and Maine felt like fall has already arrived!

This picture is in Brenton Point State Park, Newport, Rhode Island. (please ignore the bottle lol)

No worries. Thanks for the update! I haven't gotten the springs since I'm not sure what my plans for the car are. My CPO warranty is good until the end of December and then I'll have to decide if I want to keep it or not. Nice pics from over the weekend

Great thread. I've been looking for a rear diffuser and they are tough to find for a B8. I found one from China, but I'm concerned about fit and quality. I think I'll go with the Deval's.

How would you compare the ride quality (everyday driving) and cornering performance of the 255 and 265 tires? Austin has some crappy roads.

Do you think the 265's would rub if you had stock suspension? I'm not planning on lowering my B8.

I'm planning on moving from my stock 18" wheels and 245/40/18 tires and going to new 19" wheels and either 255/35 or 265/35 tires. I like the look of beefy tires, but don't want to sacrifice ride quality and certainly don't want them to rub. Thanks!

Hey there! Yeah, just go with Deval. They look awesome!

The 265/35s give a really nice ride - I took it to the track and drove it as daily (for a few days) too. Super comfy ride! But they look meaty as hell.
I rubbed a very little while hitting or getting off the ramps on high speed because I had it lowered a bit. With your stock suspension, I don't think you should rub at all.

With the 19x9.5 wheels, I think the 255/35s look better. I think the 255/35 look their best on a 19x9" wheel. The only concern I personally felt with 255/35 is that I feel the road more than I should.
The Upside, however, is super amazing handling!! I can make peace with the road feel for it :)

Thoughts on the ride quality of the Dynamic + 034 springs a few years later??

Ride quality has nothing been short of amazing! The ride height is lower than stock and due to the fact it's a linear spring, the handling around the corners is brilliant! Haven't used H&R but I heard they're stiffer than these Dynamic+

I just sold my car but if I have to jump the gun on an aftermarket set of springs, I'd definitely use this again!

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Have the springs settled further or is the ride height the same?
