Luckily its not bad im surprised the bumper absorbed so much impact with very minimal damage. No dents or anything but just paint scratches and chips. I think i can buff out most of the scratches but cant do anything about chips. Either way the other party is at 100% fault so i can get this repaired no cost to me. Im looking at ways to grab a cf diffuser out of this

That's good, I didn't think there were any CF diffusers aside from the Osir one. Don't trust their quality though and it's the same actual diffuser just wrapped.

Hmm yea thats what i was thinking as well since its stock looking but just cf. why dont u trust their quality? Personal experience? Im just judging from pics but it looked really nice

I just remember reading about some quality issues in the B8 forum, but that was a while ago. If you can do it for free with the repairs then I suppose I would go for it. Let us know how it goes. I'm hoping something more aggressive in carbon launches eventually.

The ABT stuff is all super expensive for what it is. If it was all carbon then it would be more justified. Pricing on their rear wing isn't bad though.

Was just thinking about this. If no diffuser i can grab the abt wing instead since its cheaper and make more of a difference than the cf diffuser

yup gotta make the best of it. it just sucks when damage turns out to be very minimal and cant decide if I should just polish it as much as possible and live with a few chips and avoid insurance claim headaches and going to the shop. most likely gonna just go through with it to have it resprayed at a super high end shop, and have them throw in the abt wing or diffuser. I think I want the abt wing more though. but auto spoilers r so cool :(. maybe the cf stock wing hmm

I'm definitely a fan of Audi's wing. They made it subtle enough to look classy and sporty, and its an eye-catching feature that sets it apart from the TT/S.

Fixed wing IMO, I passed one with the color and options I want that was available for grab now because it didn’t have fixed wing.

The auto wing when down only looks good in certain angles imo. Some angles make it look way too bubbly and beetle like. Fixed wing looks good from all angles

It isn't often that a car company designs a car that looks "just right," but Audi did a nice job on the rear of the Mark III. To my eye, the back end looks as good as any back end on the market. Even their version of BMW's "Hoffmeister kink" at the rear pillar looks just right. Adding a fixed rear wing, for whatever reason, besmirches the design IMHO.

If I'd had the fixed wing as a factory option I probably would have got it because racecar. But I think it looks just as good without it so I don't think I'll be changing my TTS.

I think the car looks far better with the wing or at least the spoiler deployed as I keep mine up all the time. There are certain angles where it looks sexy without though.

The first day we picked it up.

18's for winter. We bought it for my wife, but I really enjoy this thing. An APR ECU and TCU tune woke it up. It's s great winter car so far.
