2014 Random Epc light and loss of power

Looking for some help on this issue with my car. Vehicle now has 43k miles on it, completely stock, was tuned (just stage 1) but removed to have some work done at the dealer. Have had the car for about 5 months 7k miles. Driving down pacific coast highway the car throws epc light and runs rough (missfiring). Pulled over restarted the car and no problems whole way home 150 miles, scanned and had cyl 3 missfire and cylinder disabling.

Install brand new ngk iridium PFR 8 S8EG with a brand new geniune vw/audi coil with the same p/n in cyl #3. Well never had an issue for about 3-4000 miles until cruising down the freeway going to pass someone the epc light returns. This time I have cyl 2 and 4 with cylinder disabling again. Visited the dealer this time while it was in cylinder disabling mode, they cleared the codes and drove , didn't find anything wrong. Tech said likely coil failure or i installed the wrong plugs.

No coolant loss, no excessive oil consumption nothing out of the ordinary, Runs great and has plenty of power otherwise. No white dust around exhaust , pretty sure its the cats failing but im not sure how to have the dealer fix them without cat codes or them experiencing the issue. I have all my parts for stage 2 just dont want to install them and have to remove them to have the cats replaced.

I was having the same issue at 46-47k , at first I thought it was the CW i had installed but then keep doing it with it . Mostly happened on WOT . Finally , dealer replaced my left cat , after telling them I could hear like a had a exhaust leak and I hear it as well . They keep the car for like a week , and keep telling me it was just the cat heat shield lose . Eventually they have a Audi technician put a camera through the oxygen sensor and found out that the cat was burnt out.it seems like it's a big hassle to get cat Replaced , because of no real codes

The photos should be enough! Some dealers are a pain in the ass.

Fortunately the closest dealer shop foreman isnt the brightest and I have to deal with him, but my service advisor is great just the techs suck. 2nd closest dealer the service writers are very rude. So i guess im screwed ill figure something out though

Sorry to hear that, bad service ruins the ownership experience.

I'm having similar issues. I'm going to pull my chipwerke box and see if it returns.

I had the same issue as you around 49k miles. Ran the car too hard and it heatsoaked. Hope your issue gets resolved soon.
