Thanks all, after a week the car is just a little dusty. I can't decide if I want to spray it down in a controlled way to check the beading and results, or if I should wait for real rain and see how it fares against the road grime.

I hope you don't mean one of those California duster gizmos. Talk about swirls

Well... kinda. It should hide the old swirls, but it's not a ceramic coating. It's not impervious to new swirls.

I just bought a 14 Miata Club PHRT that had some type of coating on it.
I used the F11 with a clay bar and the
    result was fantastic!!!
I did this yesterday on my hood. Wow, very impressed... very very smooth finish. But it did seem like I had to use more F11 than when applying a normal application with micro fiber towel. I'll wait to do the entire car when the weather is nicer more consistently.
I used Mothers Speed Clay 2.0 (not the traditional type of clay bar).

I usually wash the car with just water and towel dry
Using the F11 with a clay bar not only
gives you a smooth finish but a great shine.
Yes you use more product when using with a clay bar.
I didnít have any swirl marks before or
    after I did this.

I went for a spray and wash over the weekend. Used high pressure soap, high pressure rinse, and spot free rinse. Still had dirty spots remaining afterward. Not totally impressed yet, and the swirl marks on the black B-pillars are back. The F11 looked great but it was not a lasting effect. I did notice some decent water repelling at the wash, but not what I had hoped for. Not giving up on it yet! (Still have 2/3 bottle)

Did you do any paint correction?
I donít think the F11 is suppose to remove swirl marks might hide them but not remove them.
Any hard detergent will remove anything but a ceramic coating.
When my cars get extremely dirty I
Use 1 or 2 drops of car soap to 5 gals
    of water.
The more coats of F11 the easier it is
    to maintain.
Usually two coats wait a few days and
    apply a third coat.
Remember this is as easy as a spray detailer.
Two of my cars are in the direct Florida sun and get washed at least once a week and the morning dew is
    toweled off every morning.
And just to let everyone know I Donít Work for Topcoat !!!

I would add a coat every day for a week if I could. But here's the problem - dust. I refuse to touch my paint unless it's just been hand washed. Even after a touch-less wash I'm not comfortable with a quick detailer.

Just rinse with hose and towel dry
The slippery feeling is gone but the shine is still there.

I'm sure it's a fine product for what it is, which is more or less a water based spray on sealant. Hasn't gotten any noteworthy reviews on any of the popular detailing forums that I'm on thus among thousands it's really only among average consumers that it has any result. That's the goal for them though hence why it targets social media such as Facebook for sales. If you want, pick up some Ultima Paint Protection Plus WOWA Sealant and apply it after every wash and tell me what you think. It will be as good if not better than F11.

IMO, best to just get the car corrected and ceramic coat it.

100% agree. I do like it as a final stage for a quick detail. Need some ceramic underneath it.

just my personal experience; been using F11 on my '15 S3. looks good at first. I have 4 applications on the car. doesn't last all that long. better initial look, but not as long lasting as other competing products like Sonax Polymer Net Shield IMHO. certainly is slippery at first. I'll likely be doing CQuartz ceramic once the weather is a bit warmer.

^ I agree. Doesn't last as long as it should in my opinion. Wash your car a couple times and it's gone.

I have to agree plus itís as easy to use as spray wax.
It does loose some of its slippery ness
however the Florida sun is beating on
2 of my 3 cars every day.
I towel of the dew in the morning and they are both good to go.
Shine is equal or better than any Zanio product I have ever used.
I even use it of my glass cook top
And itís a lot cheaper then ceramic coat which does need maintenance.
Ceramic coating start at 2K in my neighborhood.

Costs associated with Ceramic products are usually priced to include full corrections. Product wise, the cost are $45 to $150 for very good products.

    Exactly ^^^

    Ceramic is entirely DIY-able.

If you want to compare to costs of having the car professionally coated with ceramic, you need to come up with a price to have someone professionally apply F11, but you probably won't find that happening anywhere.

Most people wonít have the skills to do a paint correction yet alone a ceramic coating.
What I like about the F11 is that anyone who has ever spray detailed their car can use it.
Yes you can get better results if you clay bar your car first.
And you can use the F11 as clay bar lube.
To do ceramic correct you do need to have some skills and patience.
My son has a detailing business and does a lot of high end cars,I would have him ceramic coat my cars however he is on NJ and I am in FL.

Yes / no skill wise. Ceramics are not difficult at all. They go on with the consistency of hair spray and the only key is to have decent lighting to ensure you wipe the product off completely to avoid high-spots. Typically you have about 20-40 minutes to go back. After that all you need to do is re-polish the area lightly to remove the coating and then re-apply. The real skill is in the correction as that's where 90% of the gloss from any surface is produced. The LSP is the remaining gloss.

Iíd be leery using a paint coating on tires only because it was not meant for that application. A good tire dressing should be water based and will absorb into the rubber to condition and protect it. Iím not sure what the long term effects using a coating on tires will do, but Iíd stick with an actual tire dressing. I have used Poorboyís World/Adams VRT or recently Nanolex. All give a good mid level shine and protect the tire, the VRT and Nanolex last a bit longer than the PBW. Same goes for interior dressings, I have used 404 Aerospace for years and it is hands down the best stuff for that application, repells dust and gives a nice matte finish.

It can be used on any surface.
I like the fact that it cleans the rubber and doesnít leave a shiny surface behind.
I also use it on my glass top stove once itís clean,my shove looks like brand new and spills wipe right up.
I hate using tire shine !!!!!

It can be used on any surface.
I like the fact that it cleans the rubber and doesnít leave a shiny surface behind.
I also use it on my glass top stove once itís clean,my shove looks like brand new and spills wipe right up.
I hate using tire shine !!!!!

After looking over their website, they do have "rubber" listed as a safe application. But having detailed cars for over 15+ yrs, I stand pretty firm that they make tire specific dressings for a reason. If you do not like a shiny finish on your tires, you probably have been using non-water based dressings that usually are found at auto part stores. Any good detail product online store i.e. Detailed Image, Detailer's Domain, etc. offer plenty of great tire dressings (like I mentioned before) that protect/leave a great matte finish. TBH Topcoat F11 IMO is an overpriced social media ad hokey product, there are so many better tried and true ceramic and quartz coatings that will last longer and achieve better results. Everyone wants the quick and easy route for most everything, but the key to a proper finish is getting your car properly paint corrected and applying a durable long lasting sealant and take the necessary steps in the long run to ensure that finish lasts.

Every one has products they like working with and I wish I had the money I spent on products people recommend that werenít worth my time and money.
I think the F11 is a great product and is easy to use.

Stuff looks to be similar to other sealants like Opti-seal or Chemical Guys Ceramic boost. Can apply to almost any surface and coated or not coated paint. I need to do my wheels with the ceramic boost.

Iíve been really happy with this stuff. I purposely went all summer without applying any more. Iíve only had to spray off my car twice. Other times, driving it rain storms cleaned things up. .

Will put on another application shortly as the weather will begin to turn soon.

Needs re-quoted as this is indeed the key. Spray sealants if they work for people are fine and work as a great replacement for typical wipe on sealants but no doubt a true ceramic will perform better and last longer.

Put another coat of TCF11 on in anticipation of weather changing. Love this stuff and how easy it is to apply.
