You’ll need to go with 18”, at minimum. I am pretty sure my VMR 710s fit the 18z calipers without spacers, but I bought them just to be safe.

So the '18' number in 18Z means it has to be 18" or bigger?
    same for 17Z?

Is the caliper held further outward somehow then? Pardon my ignorance. Maybe I can find info in a Wiki or DIY thread somewhere. This has probably been done before.
And that is diameter of the wheel barrel.

Or are we talking offset, of how far out the wheel face is?
I hear HP2's stick out farther that way, than B7 A4 kit.

Not sure if these clear stock B6 18" wheel dimensions, such as S4 Avus. Or if the calipers are so wide that it requires some spacing.

Also I think ECS had a chart somewhere showing brake bias calculation results, to see if it shifted braking forward, and it seemed 17Z's bite even harder than 18Z. I'm not sure how that works, or what is true.

These will fit over S4 Avus, ask CanadianA4B7, he’s currently running them. I’d still use a 3-5mm spacer (I like to be safe).

    Correct, 17z = 17”, 18z = 18”, 19z = 19” (19z came from the Cayenne Turbo S).
